Israel Reportedly Sharing Houthi Intelligence With Saudi Arabia

(Worthy News) – Israel has reportedly begun supplying Saudi Arabia with intelligence on Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi movement, with the United States serving as an intermediary between the two nations.

The arrangement followed a Saudi request for assistance, according to regional diplomatic sources cited by Israeli media. Israeli officials reportedly agreed to help because the Houthi threat extends beyond any one country, endangering regional stability and commercial passage through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait.

The cooperation could represent more than a temporary security arrangement. The Abraham Accords succeeded because Arab governments and Israel recognized that shared interests—security, trade and resistance to Iranian aggression—could overcome decades of political distance. Saudi Arabia’s reported willingness to seek Israeli assistance suggests that the same practical foundation may be taking shape in Riyadh.

Trust between nations is often built quietly before it is announced publicly. If Israeli intelligence helps Saudi Arabia defend its people and preserve freedom of navigation, the partnership could demonstrate the value of closer relations and make eventual Saudi participation in the Abraham Accords more attainable.

No diplomatic breakthrough has been announced, and neither government has publicly confirmed the intelligence channel. Still, cooperation against a common enemy may offer a glimpse of a stronger regional alliance—one capable of bringing Israel and additional Arab nations closer together while confronting Iran’s network of terror.
