Silent Sam & Duke University
- By H.K. Edgerton
It appears that all the accolades given to the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill for their rightful decision to comply with the law that the Cenotaph of Silent Sam should be returned in 90 days to its place of prominence, and that those responsible for its toppling be punished to the full extent of the law was premature as this Board has begun vacillating from that decision.

Home Invader Shot, Killed By Woman Headed For Church
- By James Aldridge
Home invasions are no laughing matter. They’re tense and terrifying for the victims, the kind of thing no one wants to experience.
A Detroit home invader was shown the error of his ways, this past weekend, however. Unfortunately for him – and fortunately for the rest of society – this scumbag won’t have a chance to learn from his mistakes.

A Bill to Ensure Enforcement of Constitutional Requirements for Presidential Candidates
- By Christina Jeffrey
There are good legislators Mike Burns and Bill Chumbley, who are willing to help make America Great Again. I have asked others and I expect more to join them, but these are two I know are fully committed to making sure the bill is pre-filed; that helps it have the best chance of surviving, and to carrying the bill as far as they can take it. Please pray it gets enough support to pass and be implemented. Mike Burns and Bill Chumley, local SC House reps, are going to introduce the attached bill. Please help them if you are in SC, and share it widely to friends in other states as I hope other states will adopt this approach.

A Troubled America
- By Manuel Ybarra, Jr. - Coalgate, OK
The picture of thousands of invaders trying to forcefully get into America is frightful. Especially to those living along the border with Mexico. For years, many have had their homes invaded, by much smaller groups than the present-day caravans.
Caravan of immigrants invading America is a new type of threat to this country.

11/15/2018 Power Outages
- By Sandy Krebs - Greenville, SC
This is a letter I sent to the CEO and CFO of Duke Energy Corp.
On the morning of November 15, 2018 I woke at 6:00 am to find the electricity in my house was off. When I called to report the issue I found that the first report of the outage in my area, effecting 1890 customers, was made at 4:30 am. The message went on to say there was no information available, and I would receive text message updates as information became available. The first and only text update I received was nine hours later, at 3:16 pm, ten minutes after my service was restored.
