INDEPENDENT CONSERVATIVE VOICE OF UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA FOR 30+ YRS

INDEPENDENT CONSERVATIVE VOICE OF
UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA FOR OVER 30 YEARS!

The elections this November will determine who controls the House and Senate, and whether the conservative agenda we care so much about will be advanced or stopped in its tracks. Lawmakers must take steps NOW to ensure our federal elections are secure. Last year, the House passed the SAVE Act (H.R. 22) to require proof of citizenship when registering to vote in federal elections and allow states to access federal databases to clean up voter rolls. It simply clarifies and strengthens the current law. The bill has been stalled in the Senate for months. But we now have the opportunity to attach this language to the Homeland Security funding bill currently being negotiated in Congress, due to Democratic demands on immigration.

An expanded version of the SAVE Act has been introduced in both chambers. The SAVE America Act (H.R. 7296/S. 3752) adds a nationwide photo ID requirement to vote for the original legislation. This simple solution would prevent voter fraud and foreign agents from meddling in our elections.

A handful of states and dozens of cities allow noncitizens to vote in local elections. Under the Biden Administration, illegal border crossers were given information about voter registration. Multiple states have found illegal immigrants on the voter rolls, some even voting in major elections. In the last decade, the state of Virginia has identified 11,000 illegal aliens on its voter rolls. Recently, the state of New Jersey found 616 aliens on its rolls.

Fair and secure elections are necessary to establish public trust. Please call or email your Congressman and Senators to urge them to cosponsor and vote YES on the SAVE America Act and attach it to upcoming “must-pass” bills.

Now is a great time to contribute to Eagle Forum PAC so that we can support strong conservatives in the November midterm elections.
