My dear friend, Lucinda Sheth, who is politically active, but not a radical in any sense, has addressed the recent Tennessee issue of a “Special Session to push for an Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO)”, better known as Red Flag Law. 1, 2 This session was called by Governor Lee because his ERPO was shot down during the normal Legislature session. This is another sneaky way our governments (local, state, and federal) are making laws without going through the proper channels. Ms. Sheth is right on for calling him out.

Appropriate Demands for Appropriations

All has been quiet in the halls of Congress since Members returned home for August recess. This time is officially called a District Work period and there are still conversations happening with the media and with each other on the upcoming agenda. One particular issue that is time-sensitive and very much in the spotlight is the appropriations process – the annual ritual in which Congress must hammer out just how much of your money the federal government will spend over the upcoming year. Once back in Washington, D.C., the House and Senate will have twelve days to pass twelve appropriations bills or face a government shutdown.
'Faith in Jesus Christ Alone': How Americans Agreed Christianity Is Core to Conservatism
- Details
- By S.A. McCarthy - The Washington Stand

In the years leading up to the birth of the nation we know as America, political discourse was exercised in pubs, in the pages of newspapers, in the town square, and on the steps outside courthouses. The patriots who forged America would define and refine together what liberty means and what responsibilities are carried with it, how men are governed and by what authority, and what a nation is and what it means to be an American.
Today, that same patriotic spirit that burns in the hearts of conservatives articulates itself largely on social media. On Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and even on less mainstream sites like Gab or former President Donald Trump’s Truth Social, conservatives carry on the work of their forefathers and clarify ideologies, debate traditions, and ask what it means to be an American conservative. Just as early American patriots made their voices heard in the streets of Boston, Philadelphia, and Annapolis, so American conservatives made their voices heard on Twitter last week, resoundingly declaring that Christianity is core to conservatism.
Get US Out! of the United Nations

The United Nations is planning a “Summit of the Future” to take place in New York City next year.

This summit is designed to dramatically expand UN power over humanity — under the guise of fighting emergencies, protecting the planet, and more — at the expense of freedom and national sovereignty. This is a major stepping stone to one-world government — the original goal and intent of the UN’s very existence. Indeed, from its very beginning, the UN’s very purpose was to establish a one-world government at the expense of its members’ sovereignty, and it continues to push for ultra-globalist policies.

"... during the Civil War, four slave states remained in the Union—Maryland, Delaware, Missouri and Kentucky—and none of them were required to give up slavery during the entire war. And that in every major battle of the Civil War, slave owners in the Union Army fought against non-slave-owners in the Confederate Army. . . . in the eyes of a Confederate soldier, if Lincoln had not freed slaves in the Union, why should the soldier be vilified for supposedly fighting on behalf of slavery?" - Jim Webb, Wall Street Journal, August 19, 2023
Former U.S. senator from Virginia and Navy secretary, writes an excellent piece that appeared August 19, 2023 entitled "Save the Confederate Memorial at Arlington" (scroll down for a PDF)
We will save or lose the 109 year old Confederate Reconciliation Memorial in the next few weeks
Note by Gene Kizer, Jr. - Before Elizabeth Warren and her Woke naming commission can desecrate Arlington National Cemetery by demolishing the 109 year old Confederate Reconciliation Memorial, they must follow the Section 106 process required by the National Historic Preservation Act and the National Environmental Policy Act.
