Believe it or not, the primary election is not far away—and early voting begins in a few days on Tuesday, May 28.
It’s been a busy week of events. We had a debate, a meet and greet, attended a law enforcement memorial with Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis, had a meet and greet in Spartanburg, spoke at a OneSpartanburg event in Duncan and joined area pastors Friday for a breakfast. Outside of all the events, we were knocking doors throughout Spartanburg and Greenville.
This week is another busy week. I will be participating in events in Greenville, Landrum, Travelers Rest and Spartanburg—and between these events, I will be meeting voters at their doors to tell them about my vision for serving as their representative in the U.S. Congress.
I am a strong believer in listening to and fighting for my constituents. I’ve done that as a state representative and will continue to do that in Congress.
I’ve often said the best endorsements are those from the people of the Fourth Congressional District. I’m pleased to announce the endorsement of John Warren today. John is an entrepreneur, Marine, best-selling author, and committed conservative champion. To kick off his endorsement, John and Sheriff Hobart Lewis are featured in a radio ad that debuted this morning on WORD. Give it a listen! I’m thankful for John’s endorsement and the endorsements of so many others in the district. My list of local and national endorsements is available on my website.

The “Fighting Fourth” has a strong history of conservative warriors who have led on important issues and stood strong for Upstate South Carolina values.
It’s time we have a congressman with moral clarity who will represent you—and not the special interests.
It’s time we have a congressman who understands taxpayer money should be spent wisely and judiciously rather than someone who excuses poor votes, such as my opponent whose campaign receives 77% of its funding from special interest groups, by saying special interest groups were “scoring” that vote. The only special interest group I will listen to are the voters of the Fourth Congressional District.
As we enter these remaining days of the campaign, take the time to encourage your friends, family, and neighbors to vote—either through early voting or on primary election day. Many people forget there is a primary—and just need a simple reminder.
I’m humbled by your support. Megan and I are constantly encouraged by your thoughtfulness, your kind words of encouragement and your prayers.
