In his July 10, 2025, commentary, “Calling On The Eagle Forum To Add to Its Legacy of Liberty,” RealClearMarkets Editor John Tamny seeks Eagle Forum’s support of a constitutional convention (aka Con-Con) with the goal of pushing Congress to support term limits for the federal legislature. However well-intentioned his call for our support of a Con-Con is, Phyllis Schlafly clearly outlined the threats inherent in using such a convention to amend the Constitution.

MEDIA ADVISORY -- Pardon Me: The Bevelyn B. Williams Story is a bold and gripping new biographical drama that brings to light the harrowing true story of a fearless pro-life activist who paid the ultimate price for standing on her convictions. Based on real events, the film traces the rise of Bevelyn B. Through powerful storytelling and raw emotion, Pardon Me chronicles Bevelyn’s courageous journey from outspoken activist to political target. Her unwavering commitment to faith and truth soon places her in the crosshairs of the Biden Administration’s Department of Justice, which prosecutes her under the controversial FACE Act. What begins as a movement of peaceful resistance spirals into a high-stakes legal battle—one that tests the limits of religious freedom, government authority, and the soul of a nation.

“Get out of here!” yelled about 40 conservative protesters in downtown Pickens on Wednesday as California Governor Gavin Newsome left the Southern Vault building, where he had just finished holding a meet and greet among potential supporters.
Newsome made several 'campaign' stops in the Palmetto State on Tuesday and Wqednesday, no doubt as a prelude to a potential presidential run in 2028. South Carolina, although a smaller state, has an oversized influence in presidential politics in that it is an early primary state.

The OBBB in Bullet Points

In an incredible conclusion to over a year of planning, pushing, and politicking, the One Big, Beautiful Bill “OBBB” (H.R. 1) was signed into law on Independence Day last week. Some are calling it the “biggest conservative victory in 30 years.” Eagle Forum praised its passage in a press release saying, “The One Big, Beautiful Bill reins in decades of reckless spending, secures our nation’s borders, protects the most vulnerable among us, and provides tax relief for all American families.” The OBBB went through several iterations during that time, losing and gaining policies in various committees and floor votes. Here is a breakdown of the key provisions of the law President Trump signed at the July 4th celebration at the White House.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Anglican Watch, the unofficial watchdog of the Episcopal Church, is calling upon St. Thomas Fifth Avenue, one of the flagship Anglo-Catholic parishes in the country, to remove a well-known pornographer from the church campus.
While Anglican Watch is not including the individual’s name in this press release, he is believed to live on campus with his same-sex husband in close proximity to children at the St. Thomas Choir School.
“Although we support the full inclusion of LGBTQ+ persons in the church, and are ardent supporters of the First Amendment, we believe that free speech requires responsible behavior,” states Anglican Watch official Eric Bonetti.

It’s astonishing that American Medical Association (AMA) President Bobby Mukkamala is siding with those who would ply children with life-altering drugs and hormones or irreversible surgeries to castrate them or remove healthy breasts.
The largest medical association in the United States has come out against the Supreme Court’s ruling in United States v. Skrmetti, which upheld Tennessee’s law against subjecting minors to transgender drugs, hormones and surgeries.
“The American Medical Association is disappointed in today’s decision that opens the door to further intrusion into patient care and harmful government interference into the practice of medicine,” American Medical Association (AMA) President Dr. Bobby Mukkamala said in a statement after the ruling was issued on June 18.
