For God & Country—The Spirit of Capt. John Birch, Christian Missionary And American Patriot - Part 1

No, this article is not about the John Birch Society, that great educational and patriotic organization that has been exposing the enemies of constitutional government, and their despicable intrigues, in the U.S. for over 60 years, resulting in merciless attacks against it and unmitigated mendacities told about it, because THE ENEMIES OF OUR CONSTITUTIONAL LIBERTIES FEAR THE TRUTH—THEY FEAR THE EXPOSURE OF THEIR ANTI-AMERICAN, ANTI-CONSTITUTION MACHINATIONS, AND THEY FEAR THE WRATH OF A TOTALLY INFORMED AMERICAN PEOPLE! The real John Birch never knew the late Robert Welch, the American businessman and patriot who founded the JBS in December of 1958.

You Can Lead A Liberal To The Facts, But You Can’t Make Him Think!

I can’t discover who originated that truism I used in the title to this article, but he/she was thoroughly aware of the foibles and shortcomings of that troublesome species of American citizens called “liberals” (also known as “progressives”, “socialists”, “maleducated”, “non-thinkers”, “left wingers”, and “moonbats”). A few months ago my long-time friends in another state sent me a little tidbit of “truisms” that they had gleaned from the internet. The article seems to have originated on

Are We Walking The Right Path?

“Sometimes the right path is not always the easiest” - Princess Matoaka, a.k.a. “Pocahontus” (c. 1596-1617), a.k.a. Rebecca (Mrs. John) Rolfe--daughter of the Great Chief Powhattan, of Virginia.
Back in the days when I could move my legs and arms without joint pain, and before the force of gravity became much “stronger”, I used to do a lot of hiking in the North and South Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains with my kids and their friends, or with our adult friends. Finding the correct path in the high country, surrounded by rocks and trees, and often cloud cover, was very important. We all loved “the high country” and we spent many wonderful weekends or parts of vacation weeks exploring well known, and not so well known, great views and landmarks in “our” mountains. In every case, having trail maps and using good observation and common sense made our hikes both enjoyable and safe. Following the right path made ALL the difference.

I’ve always admired the late, great actor and patriot, Charlton Heston, who was a staunch friend of our Second Amendment firearm liberties for most of his life, and as President of the National Rifle Association for 5 years, he stood firm and strong in his support of our Constitutional liberties. He was also a staunch supporter of the liberties of all Americans, having marched with Dr. Martin King in the “civil rights” struggles of the 1960’s.

A Math Lesson For Politicians!

A long time ago, before there even was a United States of America, we had a lot of angry folks living in what were then British Colonies. One of them came up with a “catchy” slogan, and a lot of the other angry people thought that it made a lot of sense. Eventually they got so perturbed that they revolted against the King and his political cronies, and established their own new country—the U.S.A. You recall James Otis’ “slogan” that set them off, I’m sure: “TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION IS TYRANNY”! Indeed it was.

Warning: “Obammacoccus Stupidicus” Is Almost Always Fatal to Freedom and Common Sense!

We all know that the “zombies” have been among us for quite some time! Stupid “zombie” shows on TV entertain the mentally challenged mouth breathers among the population, keeping them occupied and relatively harmless while the normal adult population tries to go about their daily routines, struggling in increasing frustration to keep their lives on a “straight line”, their struggling finances above water, and their status as free citizens still intact. Add to this fantasy zombie fixation the real and serious threat facing all freedom loving Americans: Political Zombies (aka liberals/progressives/socialists, Dumbocrats, moonbats), and we have a potential disaster of significant proportions facing all of us.

Liberty Is Always At Risk

All Americans should be familiar with the immortal words that did much to ignite the American Revolution back in 1775. Surprisingly, some Americans, victims of modernist/progressive “unteaching” of history, have no clue as to who said, “…Give me liberty or give me death”, and the circumstances leading to one of the most famous speeches of American history, nor when it was orated. Indeed, there are many Americans walking among us who have never heard of Patrick Henry, have barely heard of the American Revolution, haven’t a clue as to the years it was fought, or the country our Revolutionary patriots struggled against to attain their liberty. How very sad! How frightening! To forget or ignore the past is to condemn the future! If history teaches anything, it teaches that truth.

I consider myself to be a political “Independent”, a long time ex- member of the Republican Compromise Party, and never, never ever a member of the “Klan of New Bolsheviks Party” (formerly Democrats). No one has been a firmer supporter, in general, of President Trump, his policies, his patriotism, and his determination to “Make America Great Again”, than I have been, despite his actual or conjectured moral lapses over the years (lapses which have also surfaced in almost EVERY POTUS since our beginning)!

“Courage, then, my countrymen, our contest is not only whether we ourselves shall be free, but whether there shall be left to mankind, an asylum on earth for civil and religious liberty.” -- Founding Father, Samuel Adams
It’s a truly sad commentary on this present age that a sizeable portion of Americans are so ignorant of their own history that many of them not only have never heard of Samuel Adams or other of our Founders and have never read their words, but are totally unaware of the history of the time wherein the country they inhabit was born, from which country Americans declared their independence, and are uncertain as to the century in which those events occurred.

Moving The Stones Is Dangerous
- Details

- Category: W.H. Lamb
In ancient Egypt there developed, over the centuries, the practice of marking property boundaries with piles of stones. This became especially useful to the peasant farmers whose land was flooded every year by the Nile River. While the flood deposited much needed new and rich silt, it often took away any non-permanent boundary markers. Over time the Egyptians, and other ancients, developed the practice of identifying their property lines using piles of heavy stones, not easily moved by the flooding river or by rascally neighbors. So important did these boundary stones become that it was a serious violation of Egyptian, and later, Mosaic, law to move the stones to try to steal the property belonging to someone else.

Annapolis Had A “Tea Party” Also. Its’ Name Was Peggy Stewart

Back in 1988, during one of our trips to Boston and vicinity, my wife and I went aboard the sailing brig, “Beaver”, a recreated ship of the type used back in the 1770’s. It was moored close to the site, in Boston Harbor, where the original “Boston Tea Party” was “held” back in 1773, during which The Sons of Liberty and their friends, dressed unconvincingly as “Indians”, dumped many chests of expensive, but “boycotted” tea, into the harbor. It must have been quite a sight, and it thoroughly incensed the British colonial government. On the recreated Beaver, there were several small chests of “pretend tea”, roped to the deck rail.

From time to time in my writing for The Times Examiner, I’ve used articles sent to me by good friends in another state, people I’ve known and loved for decades and who are always on the “lookout” to provide me interesting tidbits of things that they come across that I might use. What follows is another of their offerings that they’ve gleaned and sent on to me. I hope you’ll enjoy their “lessons”.

Let me open this long “cyber sermon” with a side by side comparison of 2nd Timothy 3:1-5, in both my favorite “old” 1599 Geneva Bible and in my favorite “new” New International Version of the Bible. I know that some of you are unfamiliar with the Geneva Bible, and some of you are adamantly against reading any “modern” version of God’s Word beyond the 1611 Authorized KJV—but please indulge me, and we’ll get through this. Here is what the Triune Creator of All has to say about the “times” we are living in:

Wanted For The Murder Of 60 Million Innocents: The U.S.A.

God’s Word proclaims, in Jeremiah 1:5:
“Before I formed thee in the womb, I knew thee, and before thou camest out of the womb, I sanctified thee,…” (1599 Geneva Bible)
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee,…” (KJV)
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew (chose) you, before you were born I set you apart:…” (NIV)
I wrote a version of this article several years ago for the old print version of The Times Examiner. It was difficult to write back then, and I fear it will be even more so today, considering the degree of misinformation, confusion, closed mindedness, and mendacity that swirls around our increasingly ravaged American culture over the MORAL ISSUE of what is euphemistically referred to as “a woman’s right to choose what she does with her own body”—i.e. the act of aborting her unborn baby, or as I and millions of other Americans call it: MURDER IN THE WOMB! Yes, that’s the subject of this article, and has been “timely” ever since this abomination was ‘conceived’ in the mind of Satan and “discovered” by one of the Evil One’s disciples on the Supreme Court back in 1973, right up to today!
