What Is America's Cause in the World?
- By Pat Buchanan
"Take away this pudding; it has no theme," is a comment attributed to Winston Churchill, when a disappointing dessert was put in front of him.
Writers have used Churchill's remark to describe a foreign policy that lacks coherence or centrality of purpose.
For most of our lifetimes, this has not been true of the United States. The goal of our foreign policy has been understandable and defined.
God’s Providence Teaches Us to Hope

Fire in the Night Sky—Wisdom and Comfort
In January and February 1967, during the Vietnam War, I was flying combat missions over Laos and North Vietnam. I was assigned to a USAF Air Commando squadron operating out of Nakhon Phanom, Thailand, flying the navigator-copilot position in an A-26K, a twin-prop attack-bomber descended from the World War II Douglas B-26. Nakhon Phanom is on the Laotian border and only 30 minutes by air from the Ho Chi Minh Trial coming out of North Vietnam. Our most used weapon was a set of six .50 caliber machine guns in the nose, but we had four weapon stations on each wing and generally carried two 1,000 pound bombs in the bomb-bay. Our main mission was night-armed-reconnaissance interdicting North Vietnamese supply trucks, but we sometimes attacked enemy anti-aircraft guns or enemy troop concentrations. We were much slower than jet attack-bombers, but we could stay on station much longer and were considerably more accurate in identifying and destroying targets.
RNC Pride Tweet: The Elephant in the Room
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
A handful of days into this rainbow deluge, the air of LGBT pride is so suffocating that people could choke. It's plastered across social media, corporate logos, cereal boxes, even big box stores' pandering displays. This month, fans can't even go to a San Francisco Giants game without being bombarded with the league's first Pride-color uniforms. But one place conservatives thought they were safe from all this nonsense was the Republican National Committee. Turns out, their chairwoman is just as happy as anyone to pull on the LGBT jersey.
Almost Forgotten Americans Who Really Were Heroes - Part 2
- By W.H. Lamb
In Part 1 of this series, I introduced you to two famous Chiefs of the Northern Cheyenne people, namely “Little Wolf” and “Morning Star”, who was better known by the name he was given by the Sioux people: “Dull Knife”. During the last half of the 19th century, the concept of “Manifest Destiny”, or the expansion of the American experiment from the Atlantic to the Pacific, began to seriously clash with the concepts entertained by most of the Native Peoples that they had the right to continue to live on their traditional lands as they always had. It became obvious to both sides, as this century unfolded, that one or the other had to emerge victorious, with its vision of the future the only accepted one. As usual in the flow of human history, those with the best technology and the strongest motivations emerged victorious.
U.S. Rep. Mace Among Those Owing S.C. House Ethics Fines
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Ex-S.C. House member Nancy Mace, who was elected last year to Congress, owes a $5,100 civil fine imposed by the state House Ethics Committee for a campaign reporting violation related to her former position, according to an updated fines list released this week after The Nerve’s inquiry.
The list, updated Tuesday on the Legislature’s website, shows that Mace, a Berkeley County Republican who was elected to the S.C. House in a 2018 special election, was fined on Jan. 21 of this year for “late/not filed campaign disclosure.” The status of the $5,100 fine was listed as “unsatisfied,” or unpaid.
ICAN Obtains and Releases Nearly 3,000 Fauci Emails from The Beginning of the Pandemic; Twitter Account Suspended
- By Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN)
AUSTIN, Texas -- In early 2020, ICAN made FOIA requests to NIH for documents regarding COVID-19, including two requests for emails sent by Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. When NIH failed to respond to those requests, ICAN brought a lawsuit against the agency on June 29, 2020.
In response to that lawsuit, NIH agreed to produce Dr. Fauci's emails on a rolling basis. To date, ICAN has received 2,957 pages of Dr. Fauci's emails, sent from early February 2020 through May 2020. There is some overlap between these emails and those recently made public by BuzzFeed.
SALTY SEZ - No News is Bad News
- By Ray Simmons
I open my e-mail and see titles such as these: Barack Obama said two words…,Rand Paul just got this threat… ,Did you see the President’s e-mail?..., Weekend at Bidens…, Trump was right and the Media admits it…no apology… I click on them and am taken to some entrée that tells me nothing of importance or nothing I consider truthful these days. The Media, that should be informing us of many things that we know are going on is as “fake” as President Trump said it is. It has become the tool of forces working to destroy the America we have known so that they (the powers behind the throne) can accomplish what their armed forces could not. One Christian organization that has been around for several decades was recently censored in their effort to promote a Christian product on Amazon by a refusal that said “All review decisions are final, and this title may not be resubmitted or appealed.” There is no level playing field in this war, only the enemy has a voice as freedom is being flushed down the drain.
It's Time to Consider Mandatory National Service To Help Heal Our Broken Country
- By Neil Patel
Our country is broken -- it's coming apart at the seams -- and it is not going to fix itself. Repairing it will take effort from all of us. It may require consideration of some big national changes. Too many of us are just sitting back and watching America's decline. It's time to consider any idea that holds some promise for national renewal, any idea that could universally bring us all together and teach us a shared cause.
Perhaps even mandatory national service.
Biden's Disgraceful Exploitation of the Tulsa Race Massacre
- By David Limbaugh
This may shock and amaze you if your blinders are on, but President Biden is not only not a uniter; he is actively trying to divide Americans on race -- and other issues -- purely for raw political power. There is no other plausible explanation.
During former President Trump's entire presidency and ever since, we've been bombarded daily with the narrative that he is divisive and a racist. His political opponents and the media distorted his words, such as those he said in the aftermath of the Charlottesville attacks, to paint him as sympathetic to white supremacists. That was always absurd, but it is now largely accepted as conventional wisdom.
Democratic Showdown: Kamala vs. Manchin
- By Pat Buchanan
Speaking in Tulsa on the 100th anniversary of the racial atrocity there, Joe Biden belatedly turned to the issue of voting rights, to explain why he is having such difficulty winning passage of the party's priority legislation.
"I hear all the folks on TV saying, 'Why doesn't Biden get this done?'"
"Well, because Biden only has a majority of, effectively, four votes in the House and a tie in the Senate, with two members of the Senate who vote more with my Republican friends."
Biden Using Your Money to Pay for Abortions
- By Eagle Forum
Last Friday afternoon, the Biden Administration released its budget for fiscal year 2022. Traditionally, the President’s budget acts as a blueprint or starting point for the House and Senate to begin drafting appropriations bills. While the final package will most likely look a bit different than the current proposal, it highlights the President’s priorities and, most likely, the Democratic priorities in both Chambers.

New Company Protects Kids from LGBTQ Cult: Christian Tech Startup Responds to Pride Month Helps Parents Block LGBTQ+ Propaganda
- By Christian Newswire
ATLANTA -- A Christian tech startup has announced the launch of an internet filtering service designed to protect children from indoctrination into what it says is a "dangerous LGBTQ cult." FreeFiltering.org will help parents block websites devoted to spreading pornography and other harmful ideas about human sexuality. The company's founder, a father of three, became frustrated when he found parental control companies compromising on Christian values.
"Christian parents are rightfully concerned about the way their kids are being systematically exposed to false ideas about human sexuality at school. Then, those ideas are all-too-easily reinforced with unfettered internet access at home. A couple clicks can spiral into catastrophic physical and spiritual harm. As parents, we are entrusted with training up our children in the 'way they should go.' As that job becomes more difficult with each passing day, our company's mission is to come alongside parents and provide tools to help them fulfill their God-given responsibilities," says Michael Lee Mason, founder of FreeFiltering. "While the world celebrates Pride for the entire month of June, we mourn the fact that our nation has embraced the sin of pride as a virtue. We applaud the parents who are putting in the enormous effort necessary to properly form their kids' consciences in a culture that has become so hostile to holiness."
Conditions Leading to: Wade Hampton’s Campaign for Governor - Part 8
- By Bob Dill - Publisher of The Times Examiner
General Wade Hampton and his family, as did other South Carolinians following the war, found themselves economically worse off than the pre-war slaves.
“The people, both black and white, were left to starve,” wrote William Gilmore Simms, the well-known author who experienced the horror following the surrender of General Lee to Gen. Grant.
“The only means of subsistence to thousands but lately in affluence was the garbage left by the abandoned camps of the Federal Army and stray corn scraped up from the spots where army horses and mules had been fed.”
Simms concludes: “But no language can describe the suffering which prevailed… when pride compels them to starve in silence.”
Gym Teacher Exercises Faith in Woke District
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Tanner Cross may teach P.E., but it might be grammar that costs him his job! That's the unbelievable situation playing out in Loudoun County, Virginia, where an elementary gym teacher dared to put himself on the wrong side of the gender wars during the public comment session of the local school board. "I love my students," he said firmly, "but I will never lie to them regardless of the consequences. I'm a teacher, but I serve God first -- and I will not affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa... It's against my religion, it's lying to a child, it's abuse to a child, and it's sinning against our God."
Family Sovereignty Under Siege
- By Michelle Malkin
Parents, beware. The dominion you have over your own children is under attack like never before. Teenage puppets for Big Pharma are being deployed on the ground and across social media airwaves to convince their peers to inject themselves with experimental drugs to allegedly prevent a disease for which the youth mortality rate is practically zero.
"Do it for the herd" is the new rallying cry of designated "VaxTeen ambassadors" spearheading COVID-19 jab pop-up clinics at schools and churches nationwide targeting 25 million American children ages 12 to 17. VaxTeen is propped up by Google, the biotech lobby, and the Public Goods Project (a mysterious public health nonprofit backed by Silicon Valley, ad agencies and drug companies). As of last week, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation, more than 2 million 12-15-year-olds and 2.5 million 16-17-year-olds had received at least one COVID-19 vaccine dose. That's about 12% and 31% of adolescents in each respective age group.
Destroying Black Babies and Families With Federal Dollars
- By Star Parker
If there is one reason why problems associated with race in America persist, it is because we pretend to address problems caused by one sin by exchanging them with other sins.
President Biden has just issued a proclamation recognizing 100 years since the race massacre that occurred in the Greenwood District in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1921.
Greenwood was a wealthy Black neighborhood, a center of Black business, known as Black Wall Street, that was ravaged in two days of rioting by white racists. It resulted in the death of hundreds and the loss of property of thousands.
Were the Wars Wise? Were They Worth It?
- By Pat Buchanan
Through the long Memorial Day weekend, anyone who read the newspapers or watched television could not miss or be unmoved by it: Story after story after story of the fallen, of those who had given the "last full measure of devotion" to their country.
Heart-rending is an apt description of those stories; and searing are the videos of those who survived and returned home without arms or legs.
But the stories could not help but bring questions to mind.
Local Students Graduate in NGU's Class of 2021
- By LaVerne Howell - NGU
Seated six feet apart across a football field, yet bound together like no other class in decades, North Greenville University's (NGU) 2021 graduates celebrated their degrees on a beautiful foothills evening Friday, April 30.
With their families looking on from the stands in Younts Stadium – socially distanced but thankfully inside the campus landmark – the graduates were challenged to "listen to God."
"Do you do that?" asked commencement speaker Bill Reeves. "Do you spend any time in the day listening to him?"
The Civil War and Just War Doctrine
- By Mike Scruggs
Beneath the Virtue-signaling Propaganda of Total War
The Nineteenth Century concept of Just War was derived principally from Biblical roots, but both Greek and Roman thought and especially Roman experience undoubtedly influenced Augustine (354-430 AD) in what is generally recognized as the first systematic treatment of Christian doctrine as it applies to the State, its citizens, and its soldiers in time of war. First of all, Augustine recognized that war is often a necessity to defend the State and its citizens from aggressive enemies and that Christians may justly bear arms in that defense. Categorical pacifism is unrealistic, unloving, and unbiblical. Moreover, isolationism is often short-sighted and unwise, and may result in war and excuse callous abandonment of loyal allies to tyranny and tragic human slaughter.
Augustine outlined three main criteria for a just war: it must be initiated by properly constituted authority (Congress, in the case of the United States), it must be for a just cause, and it must be conducted by just means. To Augustine, a just end to war should be a just peace. Who then determines what are proper authority, just cause, and just means? Augustine’s answer: God, as revealed in Scripture. Practically, those who constitute proper authority decide these issues on behalf of the citizenry, but these authorities are also ultimately accountable to God and therefore the teachings of Scripture. Thomas Aquinas and many others since have attempted to flesh out a more comprehensive Just War Theory, but the tragedy of war always generates many ethical loose ends.
Biden's Brutal Budget for the Unborn
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Joe Biden got a lot of exercise during the 2020 campaign sprinting to the Left. He turned himself inside-out to prove his radical cred to everyone from Planned Parenthood to Squad socialists. But his biggest surprise, at least after 40 years of saying otherwise, was his flip on taxpayer-funded abortion. Pushed and prodded by reporters and activists, the self-professed Catholic finally took a question on the Hyde amendment that sealed the deal with his party's extremists. Asked by a liberal voter about the wall between taxpayer dollars and abortion, Biden replied: "It can't stay." Two years later, the test of whether he meant it has finally come. And the answer is: he does.

SALTY SEZ - Passports
- By Ray Simmons
There’s a subject being talked about that most folk have heard mentioned but don’t really understand how it works. That topic is generally called “vaccination passport”. But the vaccination part is very misleading and is designed to have us believe the vaccination is all we have to be concerned about. Actually this passport system was in the works long before Covid-19 appeared on the scene. Essentially it is designed to give those in control digital information about everything you do, your medical history, your travel history, what kind of groceries you buy, the movies you watch, etc. Covid-19 just managed to “come along” and provide the excuse needed to frighten us into letting them stick needles in our arms.

My Mother, Janice Jones Hawkins, A Delightful Person
- By Steven Hawkins - Greenville, SC
My mother, Janice Jones Hawkins, is a delightful person to know and a very inspirational person. My mother was born on July 13, 1944. She was born around the time of the Holocaust and New Deal, and seen a lot of things go down and still here to talk about them. She was born at the end of the Presidency of FDR, when Eleanor Roosevelt was first lady.
China's New Three-Child Policy -- Womb Police Still in Business
- By Women's Rights Without Frontiers
WASHINGTON -- In an article entitled, "China Relaxes Family Planning Policy to Allow Couples to Have Three Children," a Chinese Communist Party-affiliated news outlet announced curtly today:
China officially further relaxed its family planning policy, allowing couples to give birth to three children. The move aims to improve China's population structure and actively respond to the country's aging problem. This is a developing story. We will update it later.
Reggie Littlejohn, Founder and President of Women's Rights Without Frontiers, issued the following Statement:
China's move from a two-child policy to a three-child policy is nothing to celebrate. China should abolish all coercive population control. It is not the business of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to "allow" couples, or single women, to have children of whatever number.
Please Do Not Deny That Systemic Racism Exists
- By Alveda King
What is systemic racism? Systemic racism occurs within a government that uses money from people of influence to elect government officials who will promote their agendas.
For example, Margaret Sanger, a renowned racist and eugenicist, helped to promote an agenda of genocide which included birth control to what she considered to be the less needed communities of people on the planet. In her own words, Sanger said that colored people were like "human weeds" who needed to be exterminated.
