Double Purple Heart Recipient Donates Bullet-Proof Vest
- By Press Release
Commander Jack Dorn of the American Legion Post 214 of Taylors, SC, on behalf of a member who wishes to remain anonymous, donated a brand new ballistic vest to the South Carolina State Constable Association. Taylors and Travelers Rest attorney Steve Shaw, who is a constable and also a candidate for Greenville County Council, accepted it on behalf of the Association. Because they are fibrous inside, ballistic vests are rated only for a certain number of years and then should be replaced. The vest will go to a constable in need of a replacement vest and are highly sought after.

Senate Hearing Shows Need for Pushback
This Tuesday, May 12th, the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions held a hearing entitled, “COVID-19: Safely Getting Back to Work and Back to School.” Like the rest of the country conducting business over the web, the Senate held the hearing in a manner to comply with social distancing. Some participants used video conference, while others were actually in the hearing room. But, don’t worry… they were all 6-feet apart with masks and hand sanitizer within hands reach.
US: “China Hacks Vaccine Research”
- By By Stefan J. Bos, Special Correspondent Worthy News
The United States has accused China of hacking American vaccine research amid a global coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo demanded on Thursday that China halts the cyber theft activity. “The United States condemns attempts by cyber actors and non-traditional collectors affiliated with the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to steal U.S. intellectual property and data related to COVID-19 research,” Pompeo added.
How We Get to the Bottom of the Obama White House's Domestic Spying
- By Neil Patel
Michael Flynn did not seem to be the best choice President-elect Donald Trump could have made for his first national security advisor. My own publication, The Daily Caller, broke the story of Flynn writing an op-ed praising Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan just before Trump's election. The op-ed was a clear break from Flynn's past comments criticizing Turkey for their policies toward the ISIS terrorist group. The most troubling part was Flynn's failure to disclose the fact that his private-sector intelligence consulting firm had just signed a lucrative contract with a company closely aligned with Erdogan before the op-ed was published. The whole thing looked a lot like a paid foreign influence campaign.
No, Obamagate Is Not a Trump Diversion
- By David Limbaugh
No, President Donald Trump is not ranting and raving about Obamagate to keep himself center stage or to distract attention from COVID-19, as liberal media are suggesting. They still don't get Trump.
Two recent columns contend that Trump has ulterior motives in harping on Obamagate -- the notion that the Obama administration tried to destroy Trump with the myth that he colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election.
Fauci vs. Trump -- Who's Right?
- By Pat Buchanan
"We have met the moment and we have prevailed," said President Donald Trump Monday, as he supported the opening of the U.S. economy before the shutdown plunges us into a deep and lasting depression.
Tuesday, Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, the nation's leading expert on infectious diseases, made clear to a Senate committee his contradictory views.
Protect Your Family From Fearmonger Fauci
- By Michelle Malkin
This Mother's Day weekend, my family defied government pandemania. We drove out east from Colorado Springs to the tiny town of Calhan for a lovely little hike in the purple-and-gold-hued Paint Mines archeological district. Unmasked, we basked in the sunshine, fresh air and freedom. The park was teeming with moms like me who put family bonding over "social distancing."
We were not alone -- and that was a glorious thing.
Hack to the Future: China's Online War
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
What could be worse than not finding a vaccine? Having it stolen. And right now, in the race to find a coronavirus treatment, that might be the biggest threat of all. That's why China isn't just putting its best scientists on the job -- it's unleashing an army of cyberthieves to break into U.S. files and steal whatever progress America's making. Turns out, the regime wasn't just content infecting the world -- they want to control who recovers first too.
New Documentary Argues COVID-19 Pandemic is Judgment of God for Abortion; Focuses on New York and Gov Cuomo
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- Pandemic: The Threshing of America argues that current medical, economic, and social crisis is God's chastening on America because of the sin of abortion.
Pandemic takes special aim at NYC and Governor Cuomo for the economic crisis, hardship, and death rate in NYC, connecting the fact that NYC is the "abortion capital of America," and that last year (Jan 22, 2019) governor Cuomo signed a bill that "legalized" the killing of unborn babies though all nine months of pregnancy.
Are We Listening?
- By Ray Simmons
Because of my love for this country and what it has meant to me I desperately desire to see it preserved for those who will come after me. Because of this, these columns often deal with events and trends I see that are moving to destroy the America that I have known and replace it with an America that is subservient to some global authority with a philosophy of government that is 180 degrees from that of our Founding Fathers. In so doing I sometimes lose sight of the title under which these articles are presented: From a Christian Perspective.
Coexistence with China or Cold War II?
- By Pat Buchanan
Under fire for his handling of the coronavirus pandemic, President Donald Trump, his campaign and his party are moving to lay blame for the 80,000 U.S. dead at the feet of the Communist Party of China and, by extension, its longtime General Secretary, President Xi Jinping.
"There is a significant amount of evidence" that the virus originated in a Wuhan lab, said Secretary of State Mike Pompeo last week.

The Matchless Devotion of Black Confederates
- By Mike Scruggs
The Battle against Politically Correct Chains - Part 2 of 2 of a Series
As I wrote last week in part 1 of this series, perhaps the best estimate of the number of both free and bonded blacks serving in the Confederate Army during the Civil War is about 65,000. This estimate came from Scott K. Williams’ comprehensive article, Black Confederates Heritage, written in 1998 and still available on the internet. Of an estimated 1.0 million men that served in the Confederate Army and Navy, this is about 6.5 percent. However, Williams’ estimate may not have sufficiently accounted for the large number of black teamsters vitally important to supporting Confederate supply lines.
NGU Honors Local Students for Excellence
- By LaVerne Howell - NGU
North Greenville University’s 2020 Awards Day Chapel service planned for Monday, April 13, was canceled due to the observance of COVID-19 guidelines. The annual recognition honors students, faculty, and staff for excellence.
“We are blessed with some truly wonderful students at North Greenville. I couldn’t be prouder of these men and women for their accomplishments. They have worked hard in the classroom and lived well outside the classroom,” said NGU Provost and Dean of the University Faculty Dr. Nathan A. Finn. “While I regret we could not recognize them in person at our annual Awards Day Chapel, I appreciate how kindly they have responded in recent days as we’ve reached out to them to tell them about these rewards. I know these men and women will continue to represent NGU well for many years to come.”
The Democrat Party Is An Enemy Of Our Constitutional Republic! – Part 2
- By W.H. Lamb
“When the righteous are in authority (a-or are increased), the people rejoice; but when the wicked beareth rule, the people sigh.” - Proverbs 29:2 1599 Geneva Bible
“When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.” - Proverbs 29:2 N.I.V.
Last time I ended with the contention that “neither of our two main political parties are the same NOW as they were originally…”. The perception has been that what we see today—the Democrat and Republican Parties as they currently exist—is what they have always been. But that is not the case.
Let's Not Waste a Crisis
- By Walter Williams
Former Barack Obama adviser Rahm Emanuel, during a recent interview, reminded us of his 2008 financial crisis quotation, "Never allow a crisis to go to waste." The COVID-19 pandemic has presented a wonderful opportunity for those of us who want greater control over our lives. Sadly, too many Americans have already taken the bait. We've allowed politicians and bureaucrats to dictate to us what's an essential business and what isn't, who has access to hospitals and who hasn't, and a host of minor and major dictates.
Something To Think About
- By Ray Simmons
If you are really listening to find truth about what is going on in our nation (and around the world) you first need to take a thorough look at what is written in the Bible. Our Holy Bible is filled with prophetic information; some of those prophesies have already been filled, but many of them have not…many of them are being fulfilled right in front of our eyes to ones who know how to look for them. Scriptures also tell us that some of God’s people are lost because they lack knowledge*, and they lack that knowledge because they desire not to see it. There are many, many places in scripture warning us about false teachers; not necessarily preachers, but others may be filling what we are hearing with partial or total erroneous information: maybe Jesus was not "virgin-born,” maybe He didn’t really die on that cross, etc.

Protect Americans With American Supplies
- By Neil Patel
As our fellow Americans lose jobs and lives due to this pandemic, it's helpful to pause and think about whether any positives can come out of this tragedy. With challenges this big, there are always important lessons.
First, we are learning a lot about our top leaders. We live in a politically fractured time. By the time we have a vaccine or herd immunity and can put this pandemic fully in our rearview mirror -- which may be quite a while away, unfortunately -- we will be better able to assess how each national, state and local leader steps up -- or shrinks -- when it counts.
Trump's Critics Can't Have It Both Ways
- By David Limbaugh
The left's position on the nation's proper response to the pandemic, though shrouded in the language of compassion, is incoherent and morally repugnant virtue signaling.
Since this calamity began, many national Democratic leaders, the left-wing media and various never-Trumpers have been more interested in smearing President Donald Trump -- no change there -- than helping to solve the myriad problems caused by the coronavirus.
Behind Trump's Strategic Pivot
- By Pat Buchanan
After Pearl Harbor, FDR declared that his role of "Dr. New Deal" had been superseded, replaced by his new role, "Dr. Win the War."
Tuesday, President Donald Trump signaled that, in the war on the coronavirus pandemic, he, too, is executing a strategic pivot.
Coronavirus Deception: Made in China
- By Tony Perkins
A lot of things about the coronavirus are out of our control -- but how we approach China isn't one of them. And in a country where consensus is as rare as hand sanitizer, the outrage over the outbreak might be the single greatest exception. While Democrats in Washington keep their fingers pointed at President Trump, they're about the only ones, polling shows. Most Americans know exactly who's at fault -- and who should pay.
WaPo Refuses to Print Responses to Hit Piece on Phyllis
- By Anne Schlafly Cori
The Washington Post published an absurd column by Max Boot, who is also a CNN contributor, claiming that the FX/Hulu series Mrs. America provided insight into why America elected a president that would encourage people to ingest disinfectant.
Just One Page-Just One Tax For All
- By Christian Newswire
FREDERICKSBURG, Va. -- Now there is a tax system that eliminates the maze of Federal and State Taxes. The only bona fide "One Page Tax System" One Tax For All. One Tax For All - Tax System will replace all tax systems. Just like a simple toll road, the One Tax For All is a national and state sales and transaction tax. This system is a cash system, pay as you go for everyone, every business, and enterprise. The greatest benefit of this tax system is citizens/taxpayers get to keep most of the wealth they create for themselves.
