I’m pleased to announce that Ryan Duerk will begin serving as Miracle Hill’s new President/CEO beginning January 1, 2020.
The Board, with the help of Find Great People, conducted an extensive months-long search for a new CEO, considering seven critical qualities of leadership. After assessing many interested individuals, the Board interviewed four qualified candidates, one internal (Ryan Duerk, VP of Adult Ministries) and three who were in leadership roles in other Christian ministries.

International Ballet is hosting a ribbon cutting event on Friday, October 25 at 3:45 pm at 2172 River Road in Greer. The ribbon cutting celebrates the unveiling of International Ballet’s brand new 10,000 square foot training and rehearsal space, the Somerville Center. The building boasts the Somerville name in honor of International Ballet’s biggest supporters, Graham and Greta Somerville. Inside the Somerville Center is the 2,300 square foot Halsey Studio, named for Jack and Sandy Halsey, another significant donor family to the non-profit.

Order Allows Seniors Access to Social Security without Strings Attached

On November 8, 2018, President Eunie Smith signed a coalition letter on our behalf to President Trump. The letter asked the President to undo the administrative interpretation of both the Medicare and Social Security statues which have been preventing seniors from receiving Social Security if they waive Medicare Part A coverage. This effectively forces seniors to enroll in Medicare, which was enacted to serve as a voluntary program.
