Support our Republican Nominee!
- By Greenville GOP
As many of you know, we have a special election for Senator Dwight Loftis’ former seat in District 19. Patrick Haddon is our GOP nominee for the seat. Patrick has a liberal Democrat running in the August General Election. We cannot let this seat fall to the Democrats.
Patrick’s campaign manager has reached out to me about a deployment door knock on August 3rd. Several other Republican groups will be present, knocking doors for Patrick.
As a former chairman of our Party, and long-time supporter of the Greenville GOP, Patrick would love to see a large number of our members come out and help send him to fight for our conservative ideals in Columbia.
Breakfast will be paid for by the campaign. Please reply to

USMCA Faces Democratic Opposition in the House Despite Hopes for Ratification by Year’s End
- By Steve Byas - The New American
The Trump administration is expected to submit the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), a government-managed trade deal, to Congress sometime after September 1, with hopes for ratification by the end of this year. As is usual in Washington’s contentious political climate, differences between what the White House wants and what the Democrat-run House of Representatives wants could complicate that hope, even killing the deal for now.
Unfortunately, neither side in the ratification debate bothers to address the most important issue concerning USMCA, or any of these multilateral managed trade deals — the effect on America’s national sovereignty.

- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
More than four years after officials announced that Volvo would locate in South Carolina, the state Department of Commerce won’t reveal the estimated amounts of certain public costs and benefits identified in analyses of the $1.1 billion project.
The Nerve reported last month, based on Commerce records obtained under the state open-records law, that more than $250 million in incentives had been spent or offered by state and local government agencies to locate the Swedish car maker’s first U.S. plant off Interstate 26 in Berkeley County.

Family Research Council Video Ad Campaign Calls out Disney, Amazon, and Netflix for Hypocrisy
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- A new video released by Family Research Council is calling out big entertainment companies Disney, Amazon, and Netflix for their virtue signaling and hypocrisy. All three companies--Disney, Amazon, and Netflix--do business in China -- where serial human rights abuses occur, while claiming they cannot do business in U.S. states that pass pro-life laws. Family Research Council pointed out this hypocrisy in a social media ad, titled "It's All an Act."

Duncan Responds to House Passage of NDAA
- By US Rep. Jeff Duncan's Office
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Jeff Duncan (SC-03) responded to the House’s passage of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA):
“For over fifty years, the annual National Defense Authorization Act has traditionally been extremely bipartisan, with both parties working together to put our troops over politics. I wish I could say that’s what happened this week in the House, but sadly it wasn’t. The new Nancy Pelosi House of Representatives and her radical leftists threw tradition out the window and eliminated this historical and respected process.
