Taxpayer Tab for Volvo Deal Far Bigger Than Public Pronouncements
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
When S.C. officials announced in 2015 that Volvo would locate its first U.S. plant in rural Berkeley County, the total incentives offered to the Swedish car maker were pegged at about $200 million.
An investigation by The Nerve, however, found more than $250 million in incentives spent or offered so far by state and local government agencies for the Volvo project – everything from multimillion-dollar grants to an offer by a state senator of free display space at Charleston International Airport.

The Supreme Court Endorse Judicial Harassment of President Trump
Through the years, we have been vigilant defenders of integrity in our elections and that has included exposing efforts to dilute the will of U.S. citizens at the polls. So of course, we are disappointed in the Supreme Court’s ruling that delays, perhaps permanently, the Trump administration’s plan to include a question on the 2020 census inquiring about a respondent’s citizenship status.

- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
When Democrats were putting together their first two debates, it probably didn't occur to anyone that they could bomb both. - By Eagle Forum
This past week, the Supreme Court dealt a blow to “PC” (politically correct) culture in a 7-2 reversal of the Fourth Circuit’s decision in American Legion v. American Humanist Association. The decision allows a 40-foot cross, erected in 1925 to honor WWI soldiers, to remain on public land in Bladensberg, Maryland and affirms that its existence does not violate the First Amendment's Establishment Clause.

Duncan Statement on Border Supplemental
- By US Rep. Jeff Duncan's Office
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Jeff Duncan (SC-03) released the following statement after voting on the Senate’s emergency supplemental for the border crisis:
“The over 80 requests by Republicans to bring up the Senate bill, the Senate’s overwhelming passage by a vote of 84-8, and some House Democrats’ push-back against Nancy Pelosi and their own leadership worked. The House just passed the Senate’s emergency supplemental for the southern border crisis, and it is now ready for President Trump’s signature. The President asked for this money weeks ago, but Democrats wasted time to appease the open borders, radical left.

The Wayfair Walkout - Fire Them All
- By Christian Newswire
DODGE CITY, Kan. -- The following is submitted by Rev. CJ Conner:
As conditions at a remote holding center for migrant children came to light last week, Christians were saddened at the thought that we didn't have the resources to take care of innocent children. No soap, no toothpaste, no beds we were told. Christians considered what they could do for their country and tried to donate toiletries only to learn that these resources were in good supply.
