Her two terrified employees—long-time friends, really—found the elderly woman sitting on the floor of her spacious living room amid the shards of broken window plasto and the shattered ruins of tables, chairs, lamps, and the worst destruction of all, the battered remains of her Steinway Imperial Concert Grand piano, the one she had used as a concert pianist for decades—the one she had taken with her to many cities in The ConfederatedRepublics of America as she performed with acclaimed symphony orchestras—a no-longer-made musical instrument that had delighted untold numbers of classical music lovers since she was a young woman.

In The Mansions Of The Lord

“ 2) In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, 3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself, that where I am, there ye may be also” - John 14:2-3, KJV
“2) My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” - John 14: 2-3, NIV
WHAT ARE “HEAVENLY MANSIONS” IN SCRIPTURE?
Dictionaries define the word “mansion” as “a large, impressive house; astately residence”. That’s the picture that most modern people have when they think of a “mansion”. The writer of the Book of John, inspired by the Holy Spirit, used that word in the KJV translation of God’s Word, in John 14:2. The Anglicized version of the original old word used by the writer of John was “monay”, which meant a dwelling, or an abode, but did not infer avery large or stately dwelling, as we normally think of as today’s meaning of the word. The translators of the NIV version of God’s Word used the word “rooms” rather than mansions, which still gives readers the implication that Jesus was talking about “abodes”, or places to live.

THE BIRTH, LIFE, AND DEATH OF THE CONFEDERATED REPUBLICS OF AMERICA, CA. 2050/55 A.D.-CA. 2150 A.D.
“In our last class session I discussed that by around the year 2050 A.D., large numbers of people from parts of the by-now disintegrating Old United States, many of the militia groups that had been battling against the increasingly tyrannical government of that now-extinct nation and the military of the Chin Empire that had occupied much of it, plus many thousands of the members of the armed military forces that had been serving under the old “We The People” Constitution of the United States, and who still adhered in varying degrees to that constitution, began congregating (mostly for safety and survival) in the Southeastern part of the GreatNorthernContinent, and as they arrived, began to declare themselves to be a “New, Free, and Independent Nation” whose name, they decided in an early founding meeting, was to be The Confederated Republics of America, named such due to all of the former “states” of the Old United States that had declared themselves a part of the new Confederation, and who now considered themselves to be free and independent “republics”.

If Eternal Vigilance Is Still The Price For Our Freedom, Why Have So Many Americans Refused To Pay That Price?
- By W.H. Lamb
- Category: W.H. Lamb
“The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance, which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt.”
John Curran (1750-1817), Irish lawyer and statesman. From a speech given in Dublin, Ireland on July 10, 1790. (Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations, John Bartlett, Ed., Brown & Co., 1968, p. 454).
It has long been postulated that it was Thomas Jefferson who first said, “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty”. However, it’s now considered very doubtful that Jefferson ever uttered those famous words. Others of our Founders may have expressed similar thoughts during their conflict with Great Britain, but it was Irishman John Curran who iscredited with the original coining of that sentiment. Without any doubt, constant vigilance has always been a key element in the eons-long battle of mankind to attain or retain some degree of freedom and limited self-government, two indispensable elements in the forging of a life worth living that have been historically denied far too often to most of mankind by conniving and ruthless parts of the human “herd”.

PATRIOTS, AMERICANS, COUNTRYMEN, LISTEN TO ME.
I COME TO EXPOSE THE TRUTH, NOT TO BURY IT.
THE EVIL THAT LIBERALS DO LIVES AFTER THEM,
WHEN IT SHOULD BE BURIED WITH THEIR BONES.
SO SHOULD IT BE WITH ALL COLLECTIVISTS.
THE IGNOBLE BRUTES HAVE TOLD YOU THAT AMERICANISTS AND PATRIOTS ARE DANGEROUS;
THIS IS NOT SO, IT IS A GRIEVOUS LIE,

“Courage Is Being Scared To Death And Saddling Up Anyway”
- By W.H. Lamb
- Category: W.H. Lamb
Life really is much harder if you’re stupid, especially if you’re deliberately stupid. Words to that effect were uttered by the hard-nosed (but soft hearted) Sergeant Stryker in the great old 1949 film, “Sands of Iwo Jima”, and portrayed so well by John Wayne (1907-1979), one of the most unique actors that American film has ever produced and who, despite his failures and shortcomings was one of the most sincere patriots our country has ever produced. An iconoclast of leftist/progressive causes, Wayne was a strong supporter (in his later life) of traditional Americanism and the constitutional form of government given to Americans by our Founders. As he matured, he became a political conservative, much to the chagrin of the leftist vermin and brain damaged“ moonbats” who increasingly dominated Hollywood during most of his career.

We Have Forgotten, Haven’t We?

Who can forget the stirring words of one of Rudyard Kipling’s most famous poems, entitled “Lest We Forget”?
“God of our fathers, known of old, Lord of our far-flung battle line—
Beneath whose awful (awesome) hand we hold Dominion over palm and pine—
Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet, Lest we forget—lest we forget!
The tumult and the shouting dies; The captains and the kings depart—
Still stands Thine ancient Sacrifice, An humble and a contrite heart.
Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet, Lest we forget—lest we forget!

The Dissolution Of The Old United States Of America
(A continuation of a lecture by a fictional “history professor” to a class of young adults, sometime in the 32nd Century).
THE BREAKUP OF THE OLD UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, AIDED BY MILITARY FORCES OF THE “CHIN” EMPIRE.
“In our last class we discussed the beginnings of the dissolution of the country once known as ‘The United States of America’, starting with its Civil War that began, as far as we can determine, around the year 2030 A.D., a war that was fomented by what I referred to as ‘militia groups’ and ‘frustrated military commanders’ who considered themselves loyal to the “We The People” constitution that had governed that nation for at least a quarter of a millennia, as near as can be determined from the scant historical records that survived the Nationality Wars and the Dark Time, events that we believe ended the Christian civilization of that time, between 500 to 600 years ago.

Are These The “New” Times That Try Men’s Souls? Is This Our New “American Crisis”?
- By W.H. Lamb
- Category: W.H. Lamb
“If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all His commands I will give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of Earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God.”
Deuteronomy 28:1-2 NIV (Deuteronomy was George Washington’s favorite Book of the Bible).
“These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like Hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value. Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated….

Modern Liberals Are Dangerous People!
- By W.H. Lamb
- Category: W.H. Lamb
In the Year of our Lord, 2023, the citizens of our troubled American nation find themselves virtually breaking apart over “politics”; more specifically split down the middle between those who call themselves “conservatives” or “Americanists”, who honor and respect the “old ways” that were codified by our Founders in our Constitution and transmitted long before our Constitution existed to all of mankind through the centuries by God’s Eternal Word (our Bible), and those who call themselves “modernliberals”, who essentially reject almosteverything that conservatives believe in and honor. They love to assure us that they respect that heritage as much as all the rest of us do, but they really don’t! They are LIARS! The “heritage” that modern liberals truly respect is the chaos, repression, death and destruction (of property and Christian sanity) fomented by the FRENCH Revolution of 1789! Those jaundiced Jacobins are the same NOW as they were during the “Reign of Terror” in revolutionary France. The only difference is that now they call themselves “Democrats”!

Original Stories by W.H. Lamb
PREQUEL TO THIS SERIES, August, 2023
It’s been several years since I attempted to portray via articles the lives of people who won’t be born for another 400 or so years. A much shorter version of this series appeared in the old newsprint version of The Times Examiner four or five years ago. It consists of 21 parts, including this first part, all of which I’ll insert from time to time within the context of my usual Times Examiner articles, but frequently enough for you to remember the gist of the story. To tell the truth, I’m bothered by the impulses I’ve entertained for several years to tell this story again, because it concerns me that many readers will conclude that I’m resigned to the inevitability of the future I’m going to unveil to you, having spent much of my adult life, and many of my friends and fellow conservatives/Americanists I’ve had the privilege of knowing over all that time have done likewise, battling the forces of Marxism/collectivism/progressivism/socialism, all systems of repressive government that are inimical to our American concepts of freedom under law and are corrosive to the spirit of human liberty.

Another Look At The Curse Of “Abandonment Theology”
- By W.H. Lamb
- Category: W.H. Lamb
In a previous article, we discussed some of the obvious reasons why our beloved America is slowly disintegrating into purposely induced chaos and tribalism, and I placed the blame for this descent into possible national oblivion squarely on the heads of the leaders of “people of faith”—i.e. Christian pastors/priests/ministers, and Jewish rabbis, and the congregations they claim to lead (including Christians who are part of the “home church” movement). I’ve never suggested, nor will I, that people of faith are retreating from the battle against evil and tyranny because they don’t love America, despite all its faults and its sometimes-tarnished heritage of freedom. Of course they—we all—say we do. But “talk is cheap”, we all know. Unless Christian Patriots and patriots in general study God’s Word, and read and study publications like The Times Examiner, The New American, WorldNetDaily, Breitbart News, Epoch Times News & TV, and many other pro-American and pro-Christian journals, blogs, web sites and podcasts of truth and abandonthe devious and lying “main stream media”--including ALL of the “alphabet” TV channels, most cable news channels, virtually all print newspapers and well-known “popular” magazines, and especially the anti-American, anti-free speech, culture destroying “socialmedia” like Facebook (Meta), UTube, WhatsApp, Instagram, SnapChat, Twitter (now called “X”), Thread, TikTok, etc.

Is “Abandonment Theology” Really Scriptural?
- By W.H. Lamb
- Category: W.H. Lamb
“The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: It connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity.”
So said the 6th President of the U.S., John Quincy Adams, on July 4, 1821. I’ve read that quote often in the past, and I’ve always believed it to be both insightful and truthful. I’ve long assumed that most Americans of the “experienced” variety (i.e. those who are as ‘old as rocks’, like me) always endorsed the accuracy of Adams’ statement. I’m not quite as confidant that our younger fellow citizens subscribe to that sentiment, or have even heard of President John Quincy Adams, and lately I’m increasingly concerned that Americans of all ages no longer value the wisdom of our “elders” and our Founders. Let me share some of my concerns with you.

Observations by Hayley Lamb
(Translated From “Dog” by W. H. Lamb)
Hello again to everyone. My name is Hayley Lamb, and you can see my picture at the top of this article, where I’m sitting in front of MY house. This is my second article for this newspaper that I’ve written. My Uncle Boomer used to write a lot for The Times Examiner before he decided to cross over the “Rainbow Bridge” back in 2015. He was into unimportant stuff like politics, but he also wrote about really relevant and important things like chasing cats and squirrels, riding in his Grampa’s car, keeping big birds out of our yard, and making sure that the mailman didn’t come onto our property. He even ran for the office of “Dog-In-Chief” way back in the dark time of 2012, before I was born (but he lost). He did belong to The National Anti-Cat Society, just like I do. He was a real cat hater/cat chaser, so I know from whom I got my “anti-cat” propensities.

Once To Every Man And Nation Comes The Moment To Decide
- By W.H. Lamb
- Category: W.H. Lamb
Note: A version of this article, under a different title, was published in The Times Examiner on April 13, 2020. Our “national situation” is even more precarious now than it was then. Those who deny that are either grossly uninformed, deliberately blind, or are in the camp of the collectivists.
I’d venture a guess that most readers of this beacon of truth called The Times Examinerknow at least some of the words to James Lowell’s (1819-1891) great 1844 poem—a 90-line masterpiece titled, “The Present Crisis”. It was first published in 1845 by The Boston Currier, written as a protest against the impending war with Mexico and as a condemnation of the then existing evil institution of slavery, which had been incorporated into the new Republic of Texas in 1836. In 1896, Garrett Horder (1841-1922), an English hymn writer, took Lowell’s epic poem and condensed it into the shorter but more familiar hymn—“Once To Every Man and Nation”-- that most Christians have always known. Both versions contain inspiring, beautiful, yet quite troubling ideas which have “pin pricked” my thoughts for decades. To a certain extent, Lowell’s words still stand as a “two edged sword” ready to condemn those of us alive today with their thrust into our complacency, as lines #26 through #30 eloquently proclaim:

Men Of “Harlech” – Will You Heed Me?
- By W.H. Lamb
- Category: W.H. Lamb
“Men of Harlech in the hollow, Do ye hear the rushing billow,
Wave on wave that surging follow battle’s distant sound?
‘Tis the tramp of Saxon foemen, Saxon spearmen, Saxon bowmen,
Be they knights or hinds or yeomen, they shall bite the ground!
Loose the folds asunder, flag we conquer under!
The placid sky now bright on high, shall launch its bolts in thunder!
Onward! ‘Tis the country needs us, he is bravest, he who leads us,
Honor’s self now proudly heads us, freedom, God, and right!”
(Words by Mark Rutherford, from the film, Devil’s Brigade).

For many years he was an Industrial Engineer, Chief Industrial Engineer, and plant manager in the steel, electronics, and apparel industries in Ohio, South Carolina, and Alabama.
An avid and long time writer concentrating on political and cultural issues of concern to America’s Christian Patriot community, he was published in the Lancaster, S.C. “News” during the mid-to-late 1960’s and in Greenville’s “The Times Examiner” since 1999. The late Christian Patriot, Col. Bobby Dill, was his first editor for The Times Examiner, the publication he always refers to as “a great journal of truth”.
Married to Barbara for 65 years, he has two adult kids, five grandkids, and six great grandkids, plus a “feisty and opinionated” 80 lb. Pit Lab named Hayley, who runs the entire house.
A long time member, with Barbara, of the patriotic John Birch Society, he believes that it is the duty of ALL Christians to first, share the love of his Savior, Jesus, with others, and then to be dedicated patriots and do everything possible to both resist the evil of collectivism that is smothering Western Civilization and educate and motivate his fellow Americans in the preservation of our unique Constitutional Republic.
