But what is unjustifiable, to my mind at least, is that this “behavior”—this desire to enslave and brutalize and control one’s fellow human beings—lasted for over 400 years, from the onset of the Civil War in the Old United States, ca. 2030 A.D., to the glorious forming of a free and Christian country named The Republic of Gorga-Caro in the early years of the 25th century, a country that arose out of the ashes of the former Confederated Republics of America, and the unnamed small and temporary tyrannies that occupied the former borders of that once-illustrious and noble nation.

“When I awoke it was daylight, and I found myself in the small cottage that belonged to Han and Mila Tempal, two of our Jesus Sect members. Their cottage was far into the forest and away from the normal foot traffic, but they had been searching for any fellow Jesus Sect members who had managed to escape the carnage, admitting to me that they had been too afraid to come to the church service the previous night. They had been doing what they could to tend to my wounds. Fortunately, Mila was one of those who helped birth the babies of our women, and she had a fair amount of medical skills and some basic medicines for treating wounds. She already had my shoulder and leg bandaged, but told me she didn’t have the skill to do much for the stab wound in my back, which fortunately had not punctured my lung. She had managed to stop the bleeding and had put what medicine she had into the wound, and was bandaging it just as I regained consciousness. I thanked her for her help, then told them about the carnage I had witnessed. They already knew all about it, however, and the three of us wept for my family that had been killed, and also for all of our friends whom we would never see again in this life.

PRECIOUS RELICS FROM THE PAST COME TO LIGHT FOR THE FIRST, AND LAST, TIME FOR SOME OF THE PEOPLE OF ANDRIA VILLAGE
“Pastor Lee stopped beside one of the old fireplaces—the one on the left as the room was entered, and explained that soon after he had come to Andria with his family in 2372 he had shown Pastor Torash these objects. Both of these men had then worked on installing a secret hiding compartment next to this fireplace, so these objects could be preserved into the future. He counted down exactly 16 bricks from the top inside brick on the left side of the fireplace. Next to very old wood paneling that had been on the walls longer than anyone knew, Lee used his battle knife to pry away that brick from the others, revealing a small metal ring, which he pulled. Suddenly a part of the wood paneling snapped open, revealing a compartment about 6 feet high and 3 feet wide. Inside were the objects that Lee wanted us to see.

Much of what follows in this article was inspired by a great brochure I recently read, titled: “Back to Basics” (Timeless Truths Series) published by The John Birch Society, to which my wife and I have belonged for many decades. Although I’ve written on this subject previously in The Times Examiner, this information—this discussion of foundational principles—is so important that much of it bears repeating and restudying, for we have been living for generations in a nation whose government has shamelessly, purposely, and seemingly without fear of resistance from our people, ABANDONED the Constitutionalform of government set up for our REPUBLIC (not a DEMOCRACY) by the wisdom of our Founders back in 1787. If that statement is true, as I fear it is, then TRIPLE SHAME on “We, the so-called American People” for callously and carelessly allowing this to happen!

A long time ago (actually in 1956, my second year in university—which is a ‘long time ago’ for sure), I took a public speaking class. I really enjoyed that class, and I’ve done a fair amount of public speaking since those days, an activity that I do enjoy. One of the class assignments was to come up with a “proposal” to accomplish something unusual or difficult, or both. Searching for a suitable topic, I suddenly came up with a “eureka--I have found it” moment (with a ‘tip of the hat’ to the ancient Sicilian philosopher, Archimedes—c. 287 B.C.-212 B.C.). I had recently been reading, for my very first time, about the loss of the passenger liner, RMS Titanic in 1912. What better “unusual” topic could there be, in those halcyon days of 1956, then to come up with a proposal to “RAISE THE TITANIC”? It became my talk’s title.

Last time we delved a bit into twenty-one reasons to prove that, beyond reasonable doubt, we Americans have been living in a version of Rod Sterling’s “The Twilight Zone” at least for the past four years, and probably for much longer. A valid case can be made, in my opinion, that our nation and its somewhat “willingly deceived” citizens have been living in that not-so-far-fetched “zone” for much longer than the past four years. How else are we to judge the reasons why we Americans have allowed the severe degradation of our once noble and mostly Christian-oriented national culture? Think about it.

You know—that “Twilight Zone” where things never were what they appeared to be. For certain we haven’t been living in “normal (constitutional) times” during Comrade Biden’s “mal-administration” (if indeed we ever did during any of our lifetimes), nor are we living among a population of mostly ‘rational’ people, sad to say. A MAJOR FINANCIER OF OUR FIRST AMERICAN REVOLUTION
We were walking near Independence Square in Philadelphia, only a couple of blocks from Independence Hall, during one of our visits to that historic city back in 2003, when my wife and I noticed a sign near a long-established Jewish synagogue. It was a historical marker telling about a man named Haym Salomon (1740-1785), of whom we knew nothing at all. Why, we asked ourselves, had we never heard of this man whom we were informed was a “Financier of the American Revolution”? We didn’t recall ever having been taught in our American History courses (in the “dark ages” when actual history was presented) about a Jewish émigré to Colonial America who was one of the major sources of funds to support our patriot cause. Shame on us for being so uninformed. Shame on historians for neglecting this great yet little known patriot.

“The village leaders decided to abandon the rebuilding of our fortified part of Andria, knowing that our enemies would send their war machines against us again. We concentrated on fortifying our own homes, making them as strong as possible, covering them with rock and dirt. Each family head was ordered to store some food and water, as many weapons as possible, including bullets if he had a firearm, and was ordered by our village leaders to review with his family all of the possible escape routes out of Andria. We all knew that we could not hope to match the weaponry our enemies possessed, but we all did our part to make our village as ‘unfriendly’ to our enemies as possible. We dug stake pits and disguised them, making certain our people knew where they were. We raised heavy logs into the trees, where they could be dropped onto our enemies. We constructed piles of large rocks on the hillsides around our village, being held in place by hidden barriers that could be easily removed, so the rocks would tumble down on our attackers.

“Word soon spread up and down the river that Andria village had actually attacked an Enforcer installation and had killed all 98 of the enemy in it. We all knew that this bold action would put Andria on the Overmasters’ short ‘kill list’, for they were well known for the retribution they always practiced on individuals, clans, or in this case an entire village—who dared to defy them. Two days later the Lees met with the entire village, men, women, older teens, to discuss our possibilities and course of action. Some families were so terrified of Enforcer revenge that they loaded what they could on their horse carts and left Andria quickly. A few families decided to retreat deep into the forest in hopes of hiding from the Enforcers for an extended time. But most of us, numbering about 700 people, decided by open vote to stay and fight our enemies, even though we knew there was little chance that we could continue to resist them for long.
