Greenville, SC, December 4, 2023 – On November 28, 2023 the Board of Piedmont Women’s Center unanimously named Tami Howell Chief Executive Officer. Tami has served at Piedmont Women’s Center for twenty-six years. She has held many positions at Piedmont Women’s Center including Greer Clinic Director, Training Director, Director of Community Relations, Director of Development, Chief Operating Officer, and has filled the role of Interim Chief Executive Officer for the past nine months. With her experience, Tami has a deep understanding of our mission and vision and brings recognition from the community, which will continue to move us forward as we serve the Upstate of South Carolina.
“Tami has had a great career at PWC and has done an amazing job as interim CEO,” stated Ken Bixby, Chairman of the Board at Piedmont Women’s Center. “She has the ability to lead us into the future and based on her credentials, the board is confident that Tami is the right person for the job.”
Tami holds a BA in Music, and is an alumnus of Converse College and Southern Wesleyan University. She and her husband Scott have two adult sons and two extraordinary grandchildren.
