Pettit to Deliver State of the University Address

Bob Jones University President Steve Pettit will deliver a “State of the University” address on Friday, May 8, at 2 p.m. via webcast at www.bju.edu/live.
The timing of the president’s address coincides with what would have been the 2020 Commencement Exercises for the current academic year. Pettit is encouraging University friends, students, faculty and staff to view the virtual address.

Bob Jones Academy to Hold Drive-Through Graduation Ceremony

In lieu of a traditional graduation ceremony, Bob Jones Academy will hold a drive-through graduation Thursday, May 14, at 2 p.m. in front of the main Academy building.
Due to social distancing guidelines, graduates will participate in a unique processional while remaining in their vehicles.

BJU Students Receive Honorable Mention at National Competition

Members of the Bob Jones University Advertising Principles and Practices class participated in the District 3 round of the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) hosted by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) on April 3.
The results were announced on April 9. Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, the competition was held virtually. The BJU team won Honorable Mention for Creative (the marketing deliverable executions for the campaign), a special recognition for their excellent work under the unique conditions present in this year’s competition.
