Conservatives Vow to Kill Biden's 'Pathetic' Supreme Court Packing Plan
- Details
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand

Conservative members of Congress have voiced their unwavering opposition to President Joe Biden’s plan to transform the Supreme Court via three constitutional amendments the president proposed on Monday, calling the backdoor court-packing plan “pathetic,” unconstitutional, and “dead on arrival.”
On Monday, Biden bowed to pressure to change the make-up of the Supreme Court by proposing three “reforms” during a speech in Austin, Texas. The most consequential piece of the package would establish an 18-year term limit for Supreme Court justices, who currently serve for life. That arbitrary barrier would immediately apply to the court’s three most-senior justices, including two of its most tenacious originalists: Justices Clarence Thomas (who has served 33 years), Chief Justice John Roberts (19 years), and Justice Samuel Alito (18 years).
By Ignoring Netanyahu, Harris Broadcasts Shameful Inability to Lead
- Details
- By Richard Harris - Executive Director, Truth & Liberty Coalition

Israel is America's closest ally in the Middle East and the only democracy in the region. Last week, responding to an invitation from both sides of the political aisle, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived in the U.S. on an urgent mission to address Congress in a joint session. In his speech, he recounted the horrors of the country's war against Hamas and passionately laid out Israel's case, while refuting claims that Israel had deliberately starved Gaza.
Vice President Harris' only job as Vice President under the Constitution is to preside over the United States Senate, which means she is supposed to attend joint sessions of Congress. Harris couldn't be bothered, however, opting instead to attend a sorority house campaign event in Indiana. Nor was she (or President Biden) present to greet Netanyahu on the tarmac when he arrived.
Blocks from Capitol, Anti-Semitic Activists Burn U.S. Flags, Raise Palestinian Flags in Their Place
- Details
- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand

An already historic year grew more unprecedented Wednesday when anti-American activists nearly disrupted a foreign leader’s speech to a joint session of Congress. In a speech designed to strengthen the U.S.-Israel alliance, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saluted the University of North Carolina fraternity brothers who “protected the American flag against these anti-Israel protesters” during a campus riot in April. Half an hour later, the anti-Israel protestors tore down more American flags only blocks away at Washington, D.C.’s Union Station.
END THE FED: Abolish the Federal Reserve Board by Passing H.R. 8421 and S. 4463
- Details
- By The John Birch Society

Legislation to abolish the Federal Reserve has been introduced in both the U.S. House and Senate. Please contact your U.S. representative and senators, and urge them to support and cosponsor these important bills!
H.R. 8421 and S. 4463 are titled the Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act. H.R. 8421 is sponsored by Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and is cosponsored by 23 other representatives, while S. 4463 is sponsored by Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah).
If enacted, H.R. 8421 and S. 4463 would fully abolish the Federal Reserve, repealing the 1913 Federal Reserve Act and abolishing the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve and the Federal Reserve banks.
How Should Christians Respond to a Watered-Down GOP Platform?
- Details
- By Suzanne Bowdey - The Washington Stand

Now that Americans have had a chance to digest the political earthquakes of the last week and a half, a lot of conservatives are circling back to a major disappointment that, like most news, faded to the background when Donald Trump was shot. Even after the bombshell that Joe Biden is exiting the 2024 race, the mainstream media seems intent on returning to a thread that created big waves before the first shots ever rang out in Butler, Pennsylvania: a radically-rewritten GOP platform that leaves decades of pro-life and pro-family values behind.
“Under Trump, GOP Softens Abortion Stance,” headlines declared. Some wondered, “Is the Republican Party Becoming Pro-Choice?” Others were openly critical: “RNC’s New Abortion Stance Betrays GOP’s Founding, Pro-Life Activist Says.” The New York Times went a step further, blowing the doors off the RNC’s “ruthless” effort to hijack the process, “confiscating” delegates’ cell phones, refusing debate, and ultimately ramming the former president’s document through without amendments.
Update: Fort Liberty Excludes Operation Rescue in Statement Disavowing 'Terrorist Groups' Training Slide
- Details
- By Operation Rescue

WICHITA, Kan. -- Operation Rescue recently reported that Fort Liberty, a U.S. Army installation in North Carolina, was caught training soldiers using a slide falsely identifying Operation Rescue and others as "terrorist groups." After a whistleblower posted an image of the slide on X, a Fort Liberty representative told a local news agency this type of training, which contained the slide, was typically conducted every two to three weeks.
Since then, in a letter dated July 16 to U.S. Sen. Ted Budd (R-NC), U.S. Army Secretary Christine Wormuth admitted the slide had been used for "at least" seven years.
Paul Wickensimer Pledges to Support Congressional Term Limits
- Details
- By Press Release

Columbia, SC – U.S. Term Limits (USTL), the leader in the national, non-partisan movement to limit terms for elected officials, is gathering support from state lawmakers across the nation. Its mission is to get 34 states to apply for an amendment proposal convention specific to term limits on Congress. South Carolina state house candidate, Paul Wickensimer (district 22), has committed support for term limits on Congress by signing the term limits convention pledge. He is the first signer in this race.
USTL President, Philip Blumel, commented on Wickensimer's pledge saying, "Paul's strong support of term limits shows that there are individuals who are willing to listen to the majority of voters who want term limits. America needs a Congress that will be served by citizen legislators, not career politicians.”
