Democrats Considering Abortion Provisions in Military Defense Bill
- Details
- By Eagle Forum

This past week, the Senate began committee markup of the Fiscal Year 2023 National Defense Authorization Act, or NDAA. As you may recall, the NDAA made headlines this past year for its inclusion of a provision that would draft our daughters into the Military Selective Service. While the final version of the FY 2022 NDAA did not include this provision, it certainly was a hard-fought win.
The NDAA has become a bill that is used as a placeholder for items on the Leftist wish list, rather than maintaining and boosting our national defense. The legislation is often littered with woke policy measures, like diversity and inclusion training and amnesty measures for illegal immigrants.

Black conservatives put 'responsible government, strong faith and family values' in forefront as they confront failing institutions and 'woke' ideology
CHICAGO -- Leading Black conservatives will convene this September to galvanize their movement's base around a platform – rooted in "responsible government, individual liberty and fidelity, strong family values, and economic empowerment" called R.I.S.E. Principles – as an ever-divided America heads into midterm elections with looming threats and consequences from our failed social and political institutions.
The Black Conservative Summit 2022 (BCS) takes place as Black conservatives, along with "all freedom-loving Americans," grapple with what they see as a "woke takeover"-- an extreme liberal agenda that includes promoting unrestricted abortion, gender fluidity, Critical Race Theory (CRT) and movements like Black Lives Matter. Watch BCS's video trailer here: https://youtu.be/CwgT11qOCHE.
Abortion Activists Waging 'A Kind of War on Advocates for Life': Congressman
- Details
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand

Abortion activists have committed 48 acts of violence or vandalism against churches, pro-life organizations, or individuals in the last 42 days — something that amounts to “a kind of war” against pro-life Americans, according to a Republican congressman.
Politically-motivated criminals targeted churches 20 times, pro-life women’s centers 23 times, and pro-life students or individuals five times since May 2, when someone leaked a Supreme Court opinion indicating that justices plan to overturn Roe v. Wade leaked to the media. As of this writing, the most recent attack came last Saturday, when someone set fire to a pregnancy resource center in Gresham, Oregon. “From initial investigations by [p]olice and [f]ire authorities, it appears an incendiary device was thrown through a window,” the group reported.

Burns Challenges Timmons at Fourth District Debate
- Details
- By Terry M. Thacker

Fourth District Congressional candidate Mark Burns had strong words to say to the incumbent William Timmons this past Monday evening at a Republican debate held at the Veranda on Global Drive in Greenville. Other candidates present were Mike LaPierre and George Abuzeid.
Several times during the one-hour debate, Burns challenged Timmons to disavow what he referred to as his “mentor” Lindsey Graham's support of Joe Biden's “gun-grabbing” agenda.
At one point, Timmons replied, to loud applause, “I believe Mr. Burns wants to run against Lindsey Graham. I'm not Lindsey Graham.”

Republican Primary - June 14, 2022
PLEASE NOTE – IMPORTANT DETAIL: do not take this info to the polls in any printed form. By law, you may take only a list of names and offices to the polling site.
- For candidates already in an office, I have been able to check voting records. My comments reflect their voting records throughout their tenure.
- For those who have never run for office before, and who claim a position, I will state their claim, but understand I have nothing by which to verify that claim.
- Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. A photo ID is required to vote in South Carolina.
This year there is one important dynamic going on—the Democrats are having their own contested Governor’s and Superintendent race statewide. Democrats have an incentive to stay in their own primary and not to meddle in ours. So some conservatives have a better chance than usual to win the nomination or at least to make it to a run-off.

WASHINGTON -- New video evidence proves that Democrats misled the public on June 9 in the January 6 Select Committee to investigate the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol presentation.
The new video evidence can be seen at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMr1GKhC5bY
On June 9, British filmmaker Nick Quested repeated his claim that Enrique Tarrio, Chairman of the Proud Boys, had a "meeting" with Stewart Rhodes, President of the Oath Keepers, in a D.C. parking garage on Jan. 5, 2021.
Quested testified that he could not hear what was being said during the chance encounter in a D.C. parking garage near the Phoenix Hotel. But in fact, Quested's video clearly includes the full conversation. There is no mention of the Capitol.
