It is that time of the year again! Just Say Something is starting off the month of October with our 5th annual Sunrise Red Ribbon 5K.
Join your fellow runners on Saturday, October 2, 2021 for the Sunrise Red Ribbon 5K at Sugar Creek. While our race starts at 8:00AM, participants may arrive and begin running at any time between 7:00AM and 9:00AM. Winners will be notified during the week after the race.
The 5K will begin at 7:-00AM at Sugar Creek Club House #3, located at 119 Stonecrest Road, Greer, SC 29650. No parking will be allowed at the Sugar Creek Club House #3. Participants must park at Airport Baptist Church at 776 South Batesville Rd. No parking is allowed on Devenger Road.

EASTON, Md. -- An "unstoppable" media ministry in the Middle East is proving to be a lifeline for isolated Christians in Afghanistan, as the resurgent Taliban go door-to-door, executing believers who refuse to renounce their faith.
Taliban militants are even pulling people off public transport and killing them on the spot if they're Christians or considered ethnically "unpure," according to shocking reports from Middle East media ministry SAT-7 (www.sat7usa.org).

Jerry Lunsford, 86, passed away July 5, 2021. He was born in Henderson, Texas, son of the late Luther Gladdis and Helen V. Anderson Lunsford, he was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Taylors First Baptist Church. Mr. Lunsford was retired from Mitsubishi Polyester Films and founded the Piedmont Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Schneider Lunsford of the home; two sons, Steven Lee Lunsford (Sheri) of Liberty and Brian Kelly Lunsford (Joni) of Live Oak, Florida; a brother, Jimmy G. Lunsford of Mesa, Arizona; and three grandchildren, Christopher Lee Lunsford, Amy Lunsford Yeargin (Blake) and Davida Sharon Lunsford.
