Donnan/COBE Project Work Opens New Vistas at NGU

Major demolition inside at North Greenville University’s (NGU) Donnan Administration Building has paved the way for the renovated landmark on the Tigerville campus to start taking on a new shape.
Scheduled for completion in early 2024, the Donnan/College of Business and Entrepreneurship (COBE) Project will provide contemporary classrooms; student gathering and collaboration spaces; offices for COBE leadership and faculty; and conference rooms and offices for senior administration.
“The renovations are a perfect symbol of what we are doing university-wide: building on the past in ways that prepare for the future,” said NGU President Dr. Gene C. Fant, Jr.

Ring to Step Down as Director of Athletics at Bob Jones University

Bob Jones University Bruins Director of Athletics, Dr. Neal Ring, announced today he will be stepping down from his position at the end of the spring semester to accept a position as head of school at Harvest Christian Academy in Barrigada, Guam. Ring has been the only director of athletics at BJU since the program's inception in 2012.
"I am thankful for the privilege of being a part of the team to build the foundation of Bruins athletics," Ring said. "I am grateful for my wife and children who supported me in the role God provided. I am thankful for the exceptional group of operations staff and coaches God brought to lead and spiritually mentor 800+ student-athletes and challenge them to excel on and off the playing surface. I am grateful for the leadership of President Pettit and the executive team who have been key contributors to the success God has given our department. Thank you, Bruin Nation, for your support, I believe the best days are still to come!"

Bob Jones University to Hold Bible Conference

Bob Jones University will hold its annual Bible Conference February 14 - 17, on the BJU campus. This year’s theme, “God’s Steadfast Love,” is often referenced throughout the Scriptures and serves as an encouraging reminder of the hope found in Christ.
“Bible Conference is a time to step away from the busyness of the academic semester and be refreshed,” said BJU President Steve Pettit. “Each speaker is a gifted expositor of God’s Word. We look forward to what He will do in our hearts as we seek to follow His example.”

NGU Football Moving to Conference Carolinas in 2025

North Greenville University’s Football program will move to Conference Carolinas in 2025. The transition means all 20 NGU athletic teams will be aligned in one NCAA Division II conference.
Conference Carolinas (CC) announced on Thursday that it is adding Shorter University as a member, giving the conference six schools which field varsity football teams among the 15 CC member institutions across South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.

BJU Seminary Holds CoRE Conference

BJU Seminary will hold its annual CoRE Conference on Jan. 30 - Feb. 1 on the BJU campus.
The conference theme, “Who Am I? The Contemporary Assault on Personhood,” will explore the theme of personhood, regarding who we are created at conception and who we are when recreated in Christ, and the inherent value of human beings amidst the societal devaluation of life. Sessions will address a variety of topics including disability, grief, race and bioethics.
