Letters to the Editor
Open Letter to Rep. Timmons and 535 ...
- Details
- By John H. Utz - Greenville, SC
This is a 'open letter' to Congressman William Timmons and the (mostly) 535 congressional 'boobs' (particularly GOP) who appear significantly more interested in making PSA announcements and not challenging Pres. Trump pathetic actions in (not) re-opening the economy. My purpose is to present factors that show that this is not a health crisis!
Letter to the Coronavirus Task Force

Mike Pence : CORONAVIRUS TASK FORCE
Washington DC
I recall hearing someone, perhaps a Task Force member, comment that this virus may be sensitive to ultraviolet rays in sunlight and that might slow its progress in the Summertime. Has anyone tested the virus’ reaction under created ultraviolet light? Could ultraviolet lighting in restaurants perhaps reduce the chance of contagion? Just a question!
Also, the “experts” insistence on discounting an “apparent cure” — Hydroxychloroquine — and pushing some kind of vaccine that might take 18 months or longer to create and test, appears to lack common sense, and indicates a preference desired by Big Pharm. Sorry, but that’s how it looks to me.
Sincerely and thankfully yours,
Raymond Simmons
Chinese Flu and Toilet Tissue
- Details
- By Jan and Carroll Hughes missionaries to the native Americans in Arizona
There have many narratives that have surfaced recently due to our present circumstance with the Chinese flu. In our local grocery store here in Ajo, Arizona a dozen eggs went from $1.49 a dozen to $4.99 a dozen.
Milk went from $2.99 a gallon to $4.99. if any was on the shelf. A loaf of bread was not attainable at any cost. At the next grocery store one hundred miles up the road, a large box store, flour and sugar were not to be had. There was no such thing as bathroom tissue at any cost.
Medical Bureaucrats vs Medical Professionals
- Details
- By John H. Utz - Greenville, SC
As Pres. Trump has stated, "the cure (damaging the economy) is worse than the disease (coronavirus)"!
Yes, and 'damaging/ruining the economy' has been the goal of said medical bureaucrats, along with the MSM and the corrupt political operatives of left (including both parties). I am distinguishing, as we need to do, between the "Dr. Fauci's, the CDC, the Imperial College Study, et al", the medical bureaucracy; and medical professionals as referenced in "12 Experts Question The COVID-19 Panic" (pls google).
Open Letter to Mayor Knox White and the Members of Greenville City Council
- Details
- By Terry M. Thacker
The ordinance that is being proposed for a vote today by City Council is a governmental overreach.
I value my Constitutional rights and the liberties that I have enjoyed up until this point, liberties for which our forebears fought over 200 years ago.
