BJU Students Honored at Carolinas Communication Association Conference

Five students in the communication program at Bob Jones University presented academic papers at the Carolinas Communication Association Conference (CCA) held at the University of South Carolina Beaufort-Hilton Head Island in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Sept. 27-28. Additionally, BJU faculty members Dr. Charlotte Burke and Dr. Mary Mendoza participated in Great Ideas for Teaching Students in the Carolinas (GIFTS) panel discussions at the conference.

Tigerville, SC (October 1, 2019) Dr. Thomas Kidd, endowed professor of history and associate director of the Institute for Studies of Religion at Baylor University, will give the Boggs-Hickson Lecture address on Tues., Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. in Hayes Ministry Center on North Greenville University’s (NGU) Tigerville Campus. Kidd’s topic will be “Who are Evangelicals: The History of a Movement in Crisis.”

NGU welcomes alumni, students, friends and fans to campus
Tigerville, SC (September 30, 2019) North Greenville University’s annual Homecoming celebration returns to the Tigerville Campus on Friday, Oct. 25. A full weekend of festivities will be headlined by NGU’s football game against Valdosta State in Melvin and Dollie Younts Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 4 p.m. Game tickets are available two hours before kickoff at the ticket booth located in front of the stadium.

BJU Presents Panosian and the Providence of His Story

Bob Jones University will present Panosian and the Providence of His Story Thursday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. in Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium.
The multifaceted program combines the personal story of longtime BJU history professor Dr. Edward Panosian, whose family was forced to flee the Armenian Genocide (1915-1920), with the vocal artistry of Mariam Matossian, a local singer-songwriter with Armenian roots. Matossian will be accompanied by a small band of musicians playing traditional Armenian instruments and the BJU Symphony Orchestra.

North Greenville University (NGU) Campus Security Chief Rick Lee Morris was one of the twenty-six chosen.
