Important Call-To-Action by Greenville Patriot Caucus

- By Greenville Patriot Caucus

Call the Governor’s office and urge Governor McMaster to remove Dr. Simmer's name from nomination! Then contact your Senator and let him/her know you've done so. Ask that they NOT confirm Dr. Simmer's nomination if the Governor does not remove his name. Phone: 803.734.2100
Important Information Senate committee hearings will commence Thursday (3/20/25) this week to hear Dr. Simmer’s testimony. It's important to note that our Senate cannot remove Dr. Simmer’s nomination- only the Governor can. We believe raising our concerns to the Governor and urging him to remove Dr. Simmer’s nomination is a streamlined effort that will effectively raise our concerns, providing multiple opportunities to course correct. Dr. Simmer recommended and encouraged what we now know to be failed policies for mask mandates, social distancing, and COVID vaccines for children as young as 6 months old! Please respectfully let your voices be heard!
Less Waste, Lower Taxes: SC Freedom Caucus’ Plan to Rein in Reckless Spending
- Details
- By SC Freedom Caucus
From climate change alarmism to corporate welfare, SCFC is taking a stand against taxpayer-funded nonsense.

This week, the SCFC offered an alternative state budget which would cut roughly $1 billion from House Leadership’s budget proposal ultimately to fund the largest tax cut in state history, moving us from 6.2% to 5%. The SCFC put up amendments to cut new money going to state agencies and commissions, while also proposing to cut existing budgets of agencies and commissions who don’t serve a core government function. Additionally, SCFC members anticipate hundeds of millions of dollars for pork will be added in the next round of the budget process, and the SCFC plans to cut any of those requests except for those earmarked for first responders or infrastructure repairs.
Convention of States: The False-hope Hucksters
- Details
- By Joe Wolverton, II, J.D. - The New American

There they go again. The latest missive from the Convention of States (COS) echo chamber reeks of recycled rhetoric and shallow sloganeering, wrapped in a false piety toward the Constitution they purport to defend but so plainly misunderstand. Their tired attacks on the John Birch Society — the last line of principled defense against the gutting of our constitutional republic — are not only dishonest, but profoundly dangerous.
Let us dispense with their clumsy propaganda and expose the COS scheme for what it is: a Trojan horse dressed in constitutional garb, promising “reform” while preparing the kindling for a political inferno that could consume the Constitution entirely.
Greenland’s Pro-Business Opposition Wins Election

NUUK, GREENLAND (Worthy News) – Greenland’s pro-business opposition Demokraatit party won Tuesday’s parliamentary election, dominated by U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s pledge to take control of the island, official results show.
The Demokraatit party—the Democrats—and the second-place party, Naleraq—“Point of Orientation—were beating the incumbent left-wing coalition.
Demokraatit, favoring a slow approach to independence from Denmark, secured 29.9 percent of the votes with all ballots counted, up from 9.1 percent in 2021. It was ahead of the opposition Naleraq party, which favors rapid independence, at 24.5 percent.
Trump Urged to Dust Off an Old Weapon and Legislate DOGE Cuts
- Details
- By Suzanne Bowdey - The Washington Stand

If you ask House Republicans, the most reviled phrase in leadership’s vocabulary is “continuing resolution.” Nothing seems to raise conservatives’ blood pressure like a CR — mainly because it’s become synonymous with Congress’s perpetual failure to pass a long-term budget. And while there’s certainly grumbling about the idea this time around, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) may be heading into his seventh government shutdown threat with less resistance from his own party. And another two words explain why: Donald Trump.

Woohoo. While DOGE is exposing the deepest corruption in America, whistleblowers and media are doing the same in the European Union. I can’t wait for someone in the U.N. to start revealing the lies.
Watts Up With That’s latest article “The European Commission Faces Its Biggest Scandal in 20 Years” comes at such a perfect time. Yes, much of the western world is in upheaval with the U.S. exposure of the Democrat and New World Order corruption here (which obviously consisted of a lot of Republicans, too) and has been going on for well over 100 years. But let me just give you a few samples of this revealing article (their words in chalkboard).
Chairman’s Corner: Setting the Record Straight on the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO)
- Details
- By Benton Blount - Chairman of Greenville County Council
At our most recent Greenville County Council meeting, a colleague placed the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) on the agenda with the intent to “table” it—which, under our rules, effectively means to kill the ordinance entirely.
For those who may not be aware, we reconsidered the UDO at the beginning of this year to address both council and constituent concerns about its structure and impact. The goal was to take the concerns seriously and amend the ordinance to reflect what is best for Greenville County. It wasn’t a simple decision either. Due to our rules and the fact that it was passed during last year’s session, this ordinance was almost solidified. Had it not been for this specific strategy, we would now be stuck with the ordinance as is!
