The first day of the DNC featured a prayer without Christ, politicians citing Bible verses moments after promoting abortion-on-demand, and insisting pro-life protections violate “basic decency.”

5 (More) Facts about ‘Evangelicals for Harris’
- Details
- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand

A little-known group called “Evangelicals for Harris” hosted a virtual rally over Zoom on Wednesday. The organization made headlines simply for its surprising title; in 2016 and 2020, evangelicals voted overwhelmingly for Donald Trump. A progressive newspaper said the organization “has sought to offer a counter narrative” by showing Vice President Kamala Harris, the democratic presidential nominee, gaining momentum among evangelicals. But a deeper dive into the organization suggests that not much has changed.
1. Evangelicals for Harris was created by pop-up nonprofit and is linked to Evangelicals for Biden.
“Evangelicals for Harris is a project of Faith Voters, a 501(c)4 organization,” according to their website. The IRS approved Faith Voters for Good as a tax-exempt 501(c)4 organization on January 18 of this year.

The Secret War in Laos February 6, 1967

On February 5, 1967, a USAF Forward Air Controller flying a single engine Cessna O-1F Birddog spotter aircraft, call sign Nail 65, was hit by antiaircraft fire. Nail 65 was coordinating an attack by two Navy A-4 Skyhawks on an underwater bridge and North Vietnamese trucks parked under camouflage in the mountainous Mu Gia Pass on the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Nail 65 pilot was Captain Lucius “Lamar” Heiskell from an O-1 detachment of the 23rd Tactical Air Support Squadron positioned with the Air Commando Wing at Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Base (RTAB). Realizing his O-1 was too badly damaged to escape the mountainous area of western North Vietnam, Heiskell managed to climb to 1,000 feet above the terrain and then bailed out. This was reported immediately by an accompanying Nail O-1 wingman to Crown, the C-130 communications center. Successful bail out from an O-1 was actually rare because their combat missions were usually close to the ground. Heiskell’s bail out was successful, but he had to spend the night on the ground, evading North Vietnamese Army (NVA) searchers, but was able to contact Crown and other USAF aircraft sparingly when he believed it was safe. First hiding his parachute, he hid himself in a “crack” and was almost walked over by searchers several times.
True Reform? S.C. Justices Say They Won't Investigate Each Other

- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve

South Carolina’s top court has decided to remove itself from investigations of ethics complaints against sitting justices.
But for now, members of the Supreme Court – whose six-figure salaries are paid by S.C. taxpayers – can still discipline a wayward fellow justice even with the creation of an “independent” panel to investigate the alleged ethical misconduct.
And given the secrecy baked into court rules, the public will continue to be left largely in the dark when it comes to ethics complaints filed against judges at any level.
Over the past 22 years, at least 90 formal complaints have been filed against S.C. appellate judges with the state office charged with investigating judicial ethics violations, according to court records reviewed by The Nerve.

"The doctors stepped way out of line…” (Except they didn’t. They stepped UP.)
Stop me if you’ve heard this before.
COVID crashes on American shores in March of 2020. The World Health Organization (WHO) becomes apoplectic over the prospect that doctors, in their desperation to save lives, might resort to using steroids for out-of-control lung inflammation. So they sound the alarm (loudly) warning doctors not to do that—ever, ever, ever.
But wait. There’s a mutiny afoot.
A small group of renowned, highly respected critical care physicians from around the country convened at the same time—meeting to try to determine how best to save lives. Based on their deep scientific knowledge, medical acumen and clinical experience, they quickly determined what critically ill COVID patients needed to survive. Yep. Steroids.

As campaign season heats up, candidates discuss the issues they think are most important to the voters. Republicans and Democrats differ on many policy positions, including immigration enforcement, government spending, and parental rights. While Democrats are making the “right” to abortion a major issue, Republicans are either remaining silent or sending mixed messages on the issue. As we have reported, the GOP removed nearly all pro-life language from their party platform. Earlier this month, Republican nominee Trump said he thinks “abortion has become much less of an issue. It’s a very — I think it’s actually going to be a very small issue.” But the Democrats intend to make it a huge issue both nationally and in many states.

The Mud Problem
- Details
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
The mud problem is based on a paper recently published in the Creation Research Society Quarterly entitled “The Clay Consolidation Problem and Its Implications for Flood Geology Models” by Scott L. Dunn. The paper claims that it would take too long for the mud laid down during the Genesis Flood to turn to the rock we observe.
The key to his calculations is the coefficient of hydraulic conductivity which shows how fast water can be removed from solid material. The tenancy however for it to increase with particle size. This is one way in which he's assuming normal erosion conditions. However, the conditions of the Flood would have tended to erode out larger particles possibly increasing this factor.

All the United States Supreme Court cases applying selections from the Bill of Rights to the states under the 14th amendment are based on legal ease, smoke and mirrors; not the “explicit” jurisdictional wording of the Constitution nor of The Bill of Rights-especially those in regard to religion: (a) there is absolutely no jurisdiction over religion granted to the federal administrative government at all in the Constitution of the United States and that issue was recognized on the state and federal level for near 160 years; nor, is there any jurisdiction granted at all to the federal administrative government of ANY fundamental right listed in the Bill of Rights. (b) actually, at state ratification of the Bill of Rights, the complete document was absolutely barred from any application to the states at all, just the administrative federal government.

Dear: Butch Kirven, Chairman, Committee on Finance

Over the past several weeks, our organizations have been actively investigating agenda item F-7. This investigation will be concluded within a week. We believe this agenda item has been introduced to impede our efforts to bring it to the attention of citizens and relevant authorities.
Agenda item F-7 pertains to the transfer of approximately 15 acres of real property to the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority. This is the same property involved in the lawsuit, Margaret Wells Lee vs Greenville County Council. During the discussion of this agenda item, the County Council’s attorney advised that the Council was operating in a “gray area “regarding ordinance passage. In this case, Ms. Lee’s civil liberties and property rights of citizens were violated. The Council disregarded these concerns then, and they should exercise caution moving forward.

On Sunday, vice presidential nominee and Ohio Senator J.D. Vance (R) joined Margaret Brennan on CBS’s “Face the Nation” for an interview. Predictably, the conversation started with six questions in a row on abortion. While answering those questions, Vance spoke of the contrast between former President Donald Trump’s views on abortion and the view of the Democratic Party. He said, “You have Democrats who have supported abortion right up to the moment of birth — and even beyond the moment — of birth, which is just sick stuff. And I think it’s such a contrast…”
Unions and Republicans
- Details
- By Star Parker
The appearance of Sean O' Brien, president of the Teamsters Union, in a key speaking slot at the Republican National Convention, raised a lot of eyebrows across the political spectrum about what is going on both with unions and with the Republican Party.
The union agenda and the traditional Republican agenda -- free markets, free trade, free labor market competition -- is not a cocktail that we usually think of as going together.
But we are in a political time of razor-thin margins. Swing states will be won by margins hovering around 1%. Winning swing votes depends on the ability to penetrate the gray, to win over voters who may not be 100% on board with the candidate or the party's whole platform -- but who see the benefits of one side as exceeding the costs of the other side.
Russia Backs Palestinian State In Warning To Israel

- By Stefan J. Bos - Chief International Correspondent Worthy News

MOSCOW/BUDAPEST – Russian President Vladimir Putin says Moscow backs the creation of a full-fledged Palestinian state, and he has publicly embraced visiting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
In comments that were likely to upset Israel, Putin stressed that the plight of Palestinians pained Russia.
Putin clarified that Moscow closely followed events in the Middle East despite the war-torn Ukraine vying for attention.
He did not refer directly to Ukraine’s week-old incursion into western Russia, an operation that initially overwhelmed Russia’s military and forced more than 130,000 people to flee their homes so far.
Christian Resistance to Tyranny and the Right of Revolution
- Details
- By Winston McCuen - South Carolina
In this world, which is the best of all possible created worlds, the peoples of the nations, by Divine Providence, generally get either the liberty they deserve, or the tyranny they tolerate and therefore deserve. As a rule, God reserves liberty for moral and intellectual virtue, and He reserves slavery for ignorance, sloth, and depravity.
When churches professing the name of Christ are worldly, governments are tyrannical. And when tyrannical civil government rules over worldly churches, pastors professing Christ often, under social influence and pressure, or from a sinful fear of man, become mere hirelings instead of shepherds of the flock.

Abortion, 'Gender-Affirming Care,' and More
PITTSBURG, Kan. -- On Tuesday, Operation Rescue shared documents revealing Planned Parenthood's shady methods of using a multiple-layer organization structure to sneak into the small college town of Pittsburg, Kansas. Since the documents were released, the abortion giant published the new location on its website revealing plans to push dangerous abortion pills, surgical abortions, and "gender-affirming care."
According to Planned Parenthood's own press release, the facility is not slated to open until the fall. Under normal circumstances, it would seem odd to publish a clinic as if it is open — before appointments can be scheduled.
"It looks like Planned Parenthood got backed into a corner after its covert tactics were publicly exposed, forcing it to do damage control," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "Planned Parenthood likes to set up shop in college towns where it has access to vulnerable young adults."

Natural Gas Is Now Cheaper Than Water

Among the great mythologies of recent years, one stands out above the rest, is that the world is in a "great energy transition." Actually, the world IS in a dramatic energy transition. But it isn't the one the Left wants it to be.
Despite hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars thrown at wind and solar power, we still get less than 10% of our energy from green sources. The needle really hasn't moved at all over the past two decades. The more the government spends, the less we get per taxpayer dollar thrown at it. That's the very definition of a falling stock.
I'm Black, I'm a Woman and I Support Donald Trump – Here's Why
- Details
- By Day Gardner - National Black Pro-Life Union

Lately, I have received inquiries from liberal media addicts and a few Christians asking me to explain, how, as a Christian, I can support Donald J. Trump for President.
Though my reasons are my own, I hope what I have to say will shed light on my opinions, at the very least.
Yes, I am a born-again believer in JESUS CHRIST as Lord and Savior, and a staunch supporter of former President Trump. I endorsed him early in 2016, 2020 and again for 2024.
When a person says Trump has had several wives and is a womanizer, I am reminded of the Biblical David (2 Samuel 11,12). David was an adulterer who impregnated the wife of an elite soldier in his own army and then ensured her husband would be killed in battle. Even though King David was an adulterer and murderer (by proxy) God still chose him to fulfil the covenant. He is one of the greatest leaders of God's people in the Old Testament.
America: Drifting Towards Venezuela?
- Details
- By Joseph M. Bianchi
Now that the elections in Venezuela are over, the anticipated results are final: President Nicolas Maduro has won. Well, that is, he claims to have won, but actual results say otherwise. Reports from the various polling areas say the opposition candidates, Edmundo Gonzalez and Corina Machado, won—and by a landslide, some saying by a 70% margin.
Of course, Maduro denied this, and the police and army were called out to “bring order” back to the country. The Strongman refuses to budge, and by all indications, he isn’t going anywhere soon.
So much for a South American country run by a dictator. Aren’t we glad we live in America where something like this could never happen?
Happy Birthday to Phyllis Schlafly!
- Details
- By Anne Schlafly - Eagle Forum Chairman
2024 is the Centennial of my mother’s birth. What a great moment to review her remarkable achievements.

Phyllis Stewart was born on August 14, 1924, in Saint Louis, Missouri. Her father was an engineer and her mother was a librarian with a master’s degree. Education was very important in the Stewart household. Phyllis was valedictorian of her high school class. The family had no money for college, so while Phyllis was in school, she worked a full-time (which was then 48 hours per week) job to pay for her education.
Phyllis worked hard for all of her achievements. She wrote books, gave speeches, built a movement, and testified on a lot of legislation. Most importantly, she wanted to share her success with others. Because she was self-made, she recognized the importance of multiplying her success by training others to become leaders.
