Hidden Dragons in America, Pompeo Warns
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
It sounds like an episode of "The Americans" or a best-selling Tom Clancy novel. But when Secretary of State Mike Pompeo looked into the faces of 40 governors and warned them that China had infiltrated their states, he wasn't kidding. They're hiding in the shadows of our schools, our lobbying meetings, even our business dinners. And no one, he said evenly, knows it's happening.
Looking Ahead to Trump's Second Term
- By Neil Patel
Sen. Bernie Sanders is winning. If the election of Donald Trump wasn't enough of a wake-up call that Americans want radical change, the Bernie surge should finally get America's leaders to start thinking more clearly about what's happening in our country.
For a lot of people, it's been easier to stick their heads in the sand and pretend we are still a Romney-versus-Obama country than to wrestle with the tough issues that are driving American politics today. Why are people so hungry for serious change? That's the single most important question -- and it's the question nobody ever talks about. How is Sanders winning primaries? How did Trump take over the Republican party, knocking out every major established Republican politician, with such ease? The answers you hear in Washington are almost too superficial to discuss. It's not because of Russia. It's not because too many establishment Republicans divided the vote against Trump. It's because people are truly sick of our leaders.
Rush Limbaugh: A Loving Brother and 'a Friend to Countless Americans'
- By David Limbaugh
I am uniquely blessed to be Rush Limbaugh's brother in ways too numerous to count, and I am blessed to be in the special position of witnessing firsthand the outpouring of love and prayers from his family, friends and fans. His wife, Kathryn, has been amazing and a rock throughout.
I could fill a book with the well-wishes I've received. I sent Rush a link to my "mentions" column on Twitter so he could scroll through it and see for himself what he means to so many people.
U.S. House Ignores Constitution to Vote for ERA
- By Eagle Forum
ERA is DOA
Today the House voted to remove the ERA’s 7-year ratification deadline (H.J.Res. 79). For Members of the House supporting H.J.Res. 79, this was a purely symbolic vote. The ERA doesn’t give women anymore protections than they already have. The 14th Amendment, as well as many other laws like Title IX, the Equal Opportunity Act of 1963, the Equal Employment Opportunity Discrimination Act, the Pregnancy Discrimination Act, and the Equal Pay Act provide women equal rights.
An Establishment in Panic
- By Pat Buchanan
From the day he entered the race, Joe Biden was the great hope of the Democratic establishment to spare them from the horrifying prospect of a 2020 race between The Donald and Bernie Sanders.
Today, that same establishment wants Joe out of the race.
Why has Biden suddenly become an albatross?

City Council Urged to Remove Confederate Flags from Cemetery
- By Terry M. Thacker
Patty Bynum of Greenville exercised her Constitutional right this past Monday evening to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Being the first on a long list of speakers who addressed the seven-member council on a variety of topics, Bynum expressed her dismay at the sight of a number of small Confederate flags in the downtown, city-owned Springwood Cemetery.
These flags, which have been placed there by private individuals, stand as sentinels beside the graves of the hundreds of Confederate soldiers buried in Greenville's oldest burial ground.
Long Before Trump, We Were a Divided People
- By Pat Buchanan
In a way, Donald Trump might be called The Great Uniter.
Bear with me. No Republican president in the lifetime of this writer, not even Ronald Reagan, united the party as did Trump in the week of his acquittal in the Senate and State of the Union address.
According to the Gallup Poll, 94% of Republicans approve of his handling of his presidency, in his fourth year, despite the worst press any president has ever received and the sustained hostility of our cultural elites.
The Lie Re: "The Two Wings of the Demo. Party"
- By John H. Utz - Greenville, SC
We hear incessantly of the so-called "two wings" of the Democratic Party; ie, the 'left wing' and the 'moderates.' Sorry, but they really are one and the same.
Here's whats going on: The 'Sanders' et al wing (medicare for all; the Green New Deal; global warming; pay-off student debt; free college for all; unlimited abortions; most all of the above, or some variation of same;) this being the 'socialist', statist, marxist, whatever, wing of the party. Highly supported by ignorant, brain-washed college/youth plus liberal democrats of old who have just been seduced to the general leftward movement of politics/society/culture.

Tyranny of the Tamiflunatics
- By Michelle Malkin
Beware of clickbait character assassins masquerading as "journalists."This is a lesson America should have learned after the mass media defamation of the Covington Catholic schoolboys last year. Just a few weeks ago, innocent teenager Nick Sandmann won a multimillion-dollar settlement against CNN for leaping to conclusions and attempting to ruin his life in pursuit of a political agenda driven by confirmation bias. The Washington Post and NBC News face similar lawsuits for potential damages totaling more than a half-billion dollars.False allegations have consequences. And yet, here we are again. In Colorado last week, a young family was hurled into a national firestorm created by a single, powerful NBC News vigilante with an ideological ax to grind.
Dems Defend Abortion to the Ends of the Birth
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
"Can you look me in the eye and tell me that I shouldn't be alive?" That was the question 14 abortion survivors never got to ask America. Fox Sports, the host of this year's Super Bowl, refused to air their ad. Maybe they were afraid of creating controversy. Or maybe, they were worried about putting a real face on this thing called "choice." Either way, it's a question our country needs to answer. And Tuesday morning, Senate Republicans looked at their colleagues and did.
Heartbeat International Attacked by Soros-Funded openDemocracy
- By Christian Newswire
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The far-left organization openDemocracy published a thinly veiled "investigative" report in an attempt to smear the work and mission of pro-life pregnancy help centers, maternity homes, adoption agencies and medical clinics.
But the Soros-backed website neither substantiated its claims nor gave adequate time for them to be scrutinized.

Tigers That Flew – The Inspiring Story Of Robert Lee Scott, Jr.
- By W.H. Lamb
“In the summer of 1941, months before America was drawn into WW11…, a small group of American military pilots was secretly being recruited to augment China’s Air Force. At the head of this effort was a crusty, retired WW1 Army Air Corps fighter pilot (the partially deaf Claire Chennault) who had been hired by China to strengthen the Chinese Air Force. Because America was not at war with Japan, great care was taken to avoid bringing into question this nation’s neutrality. As a result, these volunteer pilots were required to resign their commissions with the U.S. military, travel to China as civilians and enlist in the Chinese Air Force. These roughly 100 pilots and 200 support crew were … known as “The First American Volunteer Group” or AVG. After their first combat on Dec. 18, 1941, where they were highly outnumbered and very successful, a journalist wrote in his column, ‘They flew like tigers….’ From that time on, they became known as ‘The Flying Tigers’. (With a tiger shark’s mouth & teeth painted on the front of their Curtiss P-40 Warhawks.) The Flying Tigers were disbanded and replaced by the U.S. military 7 months later on July 4, 1942, but during (those 7 months), they racked up one of the finest air combat records in history.” (Quoted from Flying Tiger pilot R.T. Smith (1918-1995) in his “History of the American Volunteer Group, in the on-line blog, “History of the Flying Tigers”.

The Tariff Road to Civil War
- By Mike Scruggs
Northern Provocation to Southern Secession
Most Americans believe that the U.S. “Civil War” was just about slavery. They have to an enormous degree been misinformed. Since the early 1960s, powerful academic and political interests have been straining every nerve to sustain the myth that the war was a glorious moral crusade against slavery. How to handle the multi-faceted problem of slavery was often a divisive issue but not in the overly-simplified moral sense that lives in postwar and modern propaganda. Had there been no Morrill Tariff, the major cotton-exporting states would not have been so strongly compelled to secede, and there might never have been a war. Recent scholarship now estimates that the total of military deaths during the Civil War was over 750,000 and that
