Only 38% of Americans now say patriotism is "very important," compared to 70% in 1998. Thirty-nine percent say religion is "very important," compared to 62% in 1998. And 30% say having children is "very important" compared to 59% in 1998.

Last time we examined seven historical conspiracies, or “plots”, that did change history, or could have had they not been detected before they came to fruition. To further reinforce my argument that there have always been “conspiracies” among mankind, probably since shortly after Adam and Eve were driven out of God’s Garden, I’d like to review several more for your appraisal, further reinforcing my arguments. Always remember those three common elements necessary for some human activity to qualify as a “conspiracy”: It must be engaged in by two or more people, it must be kept secret from all but the most dedicated conspirators, and it must be for evil or unlawful purposes.
Lamenting the astonishing success of the activist Left's century-long Gramscian march through America's major institutions is, at this juncture, old hat. Social Equity has become the root for almost every policy coming from government, school curriculum, human resources on the job, and even in our entertainment. It’s a revolution intended to change our entire social structure to affect how we all interact with each other.
To understand the full impact “equity” will have on our daily lives, let’s look at its intended definition, as prepared by its promoters. United Way of the National Capital Area (a long-time charity) defines Equity as “The quality of being fair and impartial. Social equity is impartiality, fairness and justice for all people in social policy. Social equity takes into account systemic inequalities to ensure everyone in a community has access to the same opportunities and outcomes. Equity of all kinds acknowledges that inequalities exist and works to eliminate them…Social equity recognizes that each person has different circumstances and allocates the exact resources and opportunities needed to reach an equal outcome.”

Recently, it was announced that David Becker, the creator and head of the organization known as ERIC, has resigned from its Board. He gave the explanation that “election deniers” have ramped up their attacks on him and his system, but even so, ERIC, states Becker, is “the best tool to keep voter lists accurate and combat voter fraud.”

We live in a Representative Democracy comprised of three branches of government – the legislative branch that makes the laws, the executive branch that enforces the law, and the judicial branch that interprets the law. This framework of the separation of powers with its important checks and balances between the branches is a hallmark of our great constitutional system. These checks and balances naturally lead to frustrations and impediments in policy and politics. This is not a flaw in our system but part of its design.
Widely reported in the press is that President Joe Biden called Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to express his concern about judicial reforms that are currently being considered in Israel.

Monday, March 6, Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd announced that Florida was resigning from ERIC, the phantom address storage system. Just one week before, he had told some of the state’s citizens who had proven ERIC’s foibles to Tallahassee – that they should “just forget it”, that Florida was “never going to get out of ERIC”. Across the state, in a number of counties, there had been a rising movement to hold county Supervisors of Election responsible for the bad addresses on the rolls, and to get out of ERIC. However, Tallahassee still loved ERIC, and they made that clear.

I have subscribed to the Kyiv Independent Ukraine Daily for a little more than a year as a source of news on political, economic, military, and foreign policy issues in Ukraine. This has, of course, been largely war news since March 2022. Shortly after the war began, all news on the war had to be approved by the Ukrainian Army General Staff. There is no longer unfettered free speech or a free press in Ukraine, and political parties and media opposed to President Volodymyr Zelensky have been closed down. Nevertheless, carefully read, the Kyiv Independent Daily, despite its obvious restrictions, understandable pro-Ukrainian bias, and ultra-strong anti-Russian slant, can sometimes be a source of truth unavailable elsewhere. Sometimes you have to read between the lines, and sometimes someone slips in something you know the Ukrainian General Staff and Internal Security Police would not approve unless they had some circuitous special objective. One possible motive is the desperate need for more financial and political support from the West against impending Russian victory. However, sometimes journalists insist on slipping some uncomfortable truths in their work despite pressures to conform to propaganda objectives.

I assume that most of us are aware of the concept of “conspiracies” throughout world history, and we’ve probably heard that term used for much of our lives. Even today we hear the uninformed among us ridiculing the thought of “political conspiracies”, said ridicule usually emanating from popular but ill-informed “talking head pundits” or globalist-controlled MSM outlets all over the political spectrum who love to attack and disparage “conspiracy theorists” (people who areconvinced that there are genuine conspiracies among us at this very time, based on evidence they feel is compelling), and to whom the mouth breathing masses pay homage, like a horde of ignorant lemmings following the “wisdom” of a vacuous script reader or pretend “expert” who is standing on the edge of a precipice, doing his best to entice his fellow lemmings into jumping over the cliff of chaos. The more politically astute and educated among us are fully aware that “conspiracies”—political or otherwise—have existed in the past or exist now, and what has been the affect upon history of such activities. I suggest that the first order of investigation into “conspiracies” is to define the word:
Most South Carolinians are unaware of the $1.3 billion incentive package aimed at inducing VW to manufacture Scout electric vehicles in the Palmetto State. With promises of up to 4,000 jobs, we at the Mom and Pop Alliance of South Carolina saw this deal sail through the S.C. House by a huge majority with little to no time for debate – or for legislators to hear from their constituents. Now it’s on to the S.C. Senate which we feel sure will be pressured to rubber stamp the deal asap.
Budgets are about priorities. In the Biden administration's new budget, its apparent priorities are marred by problems. Here's the cheat-sheet version: Rather than containing explosive growth in spending, it would use a bunch of new taxes to wage class warfare.
While this budget is dead on arrival in Congress, it's worth reviewing some reasons why this is so. The president aspires to spend around $6.9 trillion next year, a 55% increase over pre-pandemic levels, and $10 trillion by 2033. While Biden hopes to raise an extra $4.7 trillion over 10 years in taxes, the debt would nevertheless grow over the next decade by $19 trillion as the debt-to-GDP ratio increases from 98% to 110%. All this debt in a high-interest rate environment would have Uncle Sam fork over $10.2 trillion in interest payments alone over that time.

Our federal government has given the green light to allow a Chinese company, owned by a former communist government general, to purchase 180,000 acres of Texas land near the Rio Grande, just north of Laughlin Air Force Base, in order to build more wind turbines.
The project includes a 30,000-square-foot lodge and private runway, allowing the Chinese to move people and equipment free from federal oversight. Experts warn the Chinese will be able to monitor and potentially interfere with air traffic at America’s largest pilot training facility at Laughlin.
Florida Gov.
