Did You Know That Your Government is Arming Agencies Like the IRS, DHS, VHA, OIG, SSA, NPS?
- By Bradlee Dean
“Germans who wish to use firearms should join the SS or the SA - ordinary citizens don’t need guns, as their having guns doesn’t serve the State!” -Heinrich Himmler
While the government is busy attempting to disarm the Americans that they work for through their continuous propaganda efforts, they are on the back end in covertly expanding their agencies' arsenals. This should come as no surprise. These types of actions have been leveled against the American people since September 11, 2001, in which many agencies were created that were sold to the American people as precautionary and security measures, only to find that 18 years later that these same agencies have been found warring and stripping away the rights of Americans that government is to secure (Deuteronomy 29:63).
Washington Center Pen Pals with Gator Basketball Teamplayer
- By Washington Center
Washington Center was a part of the SEC Playmakers Pals program and was paired with the University of Florida women’s’ basketball team. Ms. Amy Garbe’s class became pen-pals with Corey Staples, a junior guard for the Gators. The students helped to make cards and crafts to send to Corey. The students also followed the Gators basketball season; they incorporated math skills with counting points scored and comparing final scores to determine the winner of each game. They also used map skills to find where the Gators were playing and where their opponents where from. All of the students enjoyed learning more about basketball and cheering on the Florida Gators and their pen-pal, Corey. Go Gators!

Tell Your Senator to Fight for Retirees
- By Eagle Forum
Democrats have been obsessed with taxing the rich, but in their efforts, they will harm the average American. Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI) has introduced S. 647, a bill that will tax our retirement savings in 401Ks, pensions, private retirement accounts, and Roth IRAs.
How to Protect Your Kids From Google Predators
- By Michelle Malkin
The father of the World Wide Web is right: It's time to take back "complete control of your data."
Tim Berners-Lee, who conceived the first internet browser 30 years ago this week, warned of its increasing threats to "privacy, security and fundamental rights." To mark the anniversary, he argued that demanding transparency is key to stopping the web's "downward plunge to a dysfunctional future." So, where to start?

House Members Push Pet Projects Through Taxpayer-funded Earmarks
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
S.C. Reps. Bruce Bannister and Dwight Loftis want $5 million in state funding to help build a convention center in downtown Greenville that Bannister says would house a large art collection that had been displayed at the private Bob Jones University.
Rep. Leon Stavrinakis, who has donated to the nonprofit South Carolina Aquarium, says he wants $1.5 million in state money to move power generating equipment at the Charleston aquarium to higher ground. He also is asking for $2.5 million in state funding for unspecified “revitalization and maintenance efforts at statewide tourism destinations,” according to a House document.
My Objection to Duke Energy’s Request for a 12% Increase in Electric Power Rates
- By William Thompson - Greenville, SC
To the South Carolina Public Service Commission,
101 Executive Center Dr, Suite 100,
Columbia, South Carolina 29210
Regarding, my objection to Duke Energy’s request for a 12% increase in electric power rates.
I am opposed to Duke Power Energy raising electric rates because it is a tax on the poorest of people, including the sick, the helpless and the unemployed. Duke constantly asked for rate increases and they have made so much money they have bought out Piedmont Natural Gas for billions of dollars. Besides polluting rivers with coal ash, Duke Power got a rate increase to help build the Oconee Nuclear Plant 50 years ago saying they were spending $1 million per day to build the plant that would cut power rates.
The Violence Against Constitutional Rights Act
- By John & Andy Schlafly
While Congress considers new infringements on constitutional rights for a new Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), they overlook where the most violence is occurring. The New York Timesrecently featured an exposé about how nearly every woman is raped during their migration from Central America to our open southern border.
Shutting the border is the only way that the United States can protect those women. That would take away the incentive for the long, dangerous journey.
Well-Known Artist and Performer Visits Washington Center
- By Washington Center
On Friday, March 8th, Washington Center students and staff were privileged to host well-known Greenville artist and performer, Mr. Emile Pandolfi, for a concert. Everyone seemed to enjoy the "fast and fun" extras that Mr. Pandolfi added to his creative piano pieces. Musical selections included a variety of enjoyable genres from ragtime and pop to Broadway favorites. With the addition of handmade stars and colored scarves to wave, students made their own contributions to the concert. Dr. Penny Rogers, principal of Washington Center, said about the program, “I have never seen our students so attentive!” A special “thank you” goes to Mr. Pandolfi for his kindness and for sharing his beautiful music.
The Trump Budget: Falling by the Waste Side
- By Tony Perkins
One of the biggest selling points of Donald Trump’s candidacy was his business experience. Now, as head of the largest company he’s ever managed -- the federal government -- the longtime executive is trying to make America financially solvent again. That’s no easy task in a Congress perfectly fine with spending $725,000 of your tax dollars on the next generation of mariachi bands. It’s time to shake up more than the maracas. And President Trump’s plan is the perfect place to start.
Methodist Church and Homosexuality
- By Jim S. Brooks - Roebuck, SC
After reading an article in an upstate newspaper recently (A personal reflection on the General Conference of the United Methodist Church, March 08, 2019) written by Dr. Tom Norrell, Pastor of Central United Methodist Church in Spartanburg, you would be left with the certain impression that he is a sincere man with great human compassion for homosexuals. He wrote, with apparent emotion, that recent actions by the General Conference of the United Methodist Church in St. Louis, Missouri, concerning the churches official view of homosexuality had left him with sadness and fear! His compassion and understanding, however, seems to be grounded on and guided by human reasoning and not biblical reasoning!

- By USPIE

Now, after much backlash, and in an attempt to save face, SC Republican Rep. Shannon Erickson has claimed her comments were taken out of context. So in order to give you more context, we have added more of her speech for you to discern her intent for tracking children from birth in all educational environments including home school. Just watch this clip of Rep. Erickson saying it’s the legislature’s responsibility to monitor and measure child progress.
Can Congress Amend the Constitution?
- By Judge Andrew Napolitano
"Emergency does not create power. Emergency does not increase granted power or remove or diminish the restrictions imposed upon power granted or reserved. The Constitution was adopted in a period of grave emergency. Its grants of power to the federal government and its limitations of the power of the States were determined in the light of emergency, and they are not altered by emergency." -- Chief Justice Charles Evans Hughes (1862-1948)
How Middle America Is to Be Dispossessed
- By Pat Buchanan
In all but one of the last seven presidential elections, Republicans lost the popular vote. George W. Bush and Donald Trump won only by capturing narrow majorities in the Electoral College.
Hence the grand strategy of the left: to enlarge and alter the U.S. electorate so as to put victory as far out of reach for national Republicans as it is today for California Republicans, and to convert the GOP into America's permanent minority party.
Senate GOP Goes to the Wire With Trump in Emergency Declaration Showdown
- By GOP Presidential
Republicans are going down to the wire as they try to find a way out of their showdown with President Trump over his national emergency to build a wall on the Mexican border.
Republicans have just days to find a more palatable solution than the House-passed resolution blocking Trump’s actions, which is expected to come up for a vote by Friday.

Thought Police (Oops, Medicare) For All
- By Marilyn M. Singleton
The new Medicare for All bill (H.R. 1384) has come and hopefully will go the way of the pet rock. Everybody now knows the basics: the government will take care of all medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, and long-term care services with no out-of-pocket expenses. The bill prohibits parallel private insurance, and has the glaring absence of a financing mechanism.
The End of the Republic, Public Assassination by Lawsuit
- By Ed Martin
The enemy of our Republic and our way of life is Congressman Jerry Nadler. Last week he subpoenaed 81 individuals. He is harassing and disrupting political opponents — using his power for oversight in the government to destroy people with legal threats and fear tactics.
Behind the Curtain of the Gender Game
- By Tony Perkins
“It was all a sham.” After four long and difficult years, that’s how Jamie Shupe started making sense of his life again. To the LGBT community, he’d been a hero – a trailblazer in the transgender movement that’s upending society. But there’s a lot more to the story of America’s first “nonbinary” person than that. And he hopes the world is listening.

What's Happening at the SC Statehouse this Week
- By SC Policy Council
This week at the State House, the House is considering the state budget while the Senate continues to work through bills on the floor and in committee.
Starting today, the House will begin debate on the nearly $30 billion dollar state appropriations bill for the upcoming fiscal year. In addition to routine spending, lawmakers must decide how to spend the roughly $61 million windfall resulting from the South Carolina lottery winner. It is unlikely the House will vote on any other legislation this week, nor are any important committee meetings scheduled.
Stop Planned Parenthood Funding In South Carolina
- By SC Rep. Jonathan Hill
The Governor’s executive budget recommended defunding Planned Parenthood (Proviso 33.24), but the House budget committee refused to include this recommendation.
I trust that you need no reminders of why Planned Parenthood should not receive one penny of your tax dollars for ANY type of service, abortion or otherwise. This is an evil organization that primarily exists to kill the unborn, and while they’re at it, sell the parts of babies to cold-hearted “scientists” and pharmaceutical companies for even more profit.
