Vote No on Amendment 4 Nov. 5th
- By Rusty L. Thomas - founder American Reformation Church
Thanks to the current political leadership of Florida, our state has stood strong against the chaos and confusion perpetrated by the infamous Woke Movement. Our state government has been vigilant to safeguard Floridian's liberties. Florida has served as a beacon of light to other states and has served other states like Texas to protect our nation's border.
We should consider ourselves blessed in these days of tumult that Florida has led the way to preserve our freedoms and to provide a future and hope for our posterity. Unfortunately, the powers of darkness neither sleep nor slumber when it comes to undermining, ignoring, or bypassing our Founding documents, the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights. This demands we remain vigilant to protect the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness for future Floridians.

Taiwan Hit By Worst Quake In Decades; Several Killed, Hundreds Injured
- By Worthy News’ George Whitten and Stefan J. Bos
HUALIEN, TAIWAN (Worthy News) – At least nine people were killed, 900 injured, and dozens of buildings damaged in Taiwan’s most powerful earthquake in 25 years, authorities said Wednesday.
However, strict building regulations and widespread public disaster awareness appeared to have staved off an even more deadly catastrophe despite a quake shaking the democratically ruled island.
The quake, given a magnitude of 7.2 by Taiwan’s earthquake monitoring agency and 7.4 by the United States, struck close to Hualien, a city of nearly 100,000 popular with tourists on Taiwan’s eastern coast.
Besides those killed and injured Wednesday, dozens of buildings were damaged, prompting tsunami warnings that extended to Japan and the Philippines before being lifted, according to officials.
Iran Vows Revenge For Deadly Israel Strike
- By Stefan J. Bos - Chief International Correspondent Worthy News
TEHRAN/JERUSALEM (Worthy News) – An all-out military confrontation between Israel and Iran appeared on the horizon early Tuesday local time as Iran vowed revenge after Israeli warplanes reportedly destroyed the Iranian consulate building in Damascus, killing at least seven people.
Among those who died in the suspected Israeli attack was a senior commander in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds force, officials confirmed.
Iran’s ambassador to Syria, Hossein Akbari, said Tehran’s response to the strike would be “at the same magnitude and harshness”
State Tax Rates on Long-Term Capital Gains, 2024
- By Katherine Loughead - Tax Foundations
When taxpayers sell their capital assets, like real property or their shares in a company, net earnings on those sales (capital gains) are generally subject to tax, and net losses on those sales (capital losses) can generally be deducted from income when calculating income tax liability.
One major shortcoming of current policy, however, is that when calculating the capital gain from the sale of an asset, the original purchase price (tax basis) is expressed in nominal terms when subtracted from the selling price. Because no inflation adjustment is made to the original purchase price, capital gains taxes are applied to nominal, not real, increases in wealth, meaning taxpayers are taxed on what is typically a combination of real and fictitious income (although the tax code does provide a few accommodations, such as for qualifying sales of owner-occupied homes and properties transferred to an heir). In some cases, this lack of inflation indexing of the tax basis results in taxpayers paying taxes on what appears on paper to be a capital gain but, due to inflation, is, in real terms, a net loss.
Tucker Carlson Interview of Vladimir Putin - Part 6
- By Mike Scruggs
True Causes of the War including Banderist Ukrainian Nationalist Influences
In part 5 of the Tucker Carlson interview of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Carlson had asked Putin about how the Ukraine War started.
Commentary: The continuous propaganda narrative of the West has been that Russian military intervention in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, was an “unprovoked invasion.” Putin explained that Ukraine had started the war eight years before, following the February 2014 Maidan Revolution and coup, in which elected President Viktor Yanukovych was deposed by mob violence that led to civil war. Over14,000 people were killed. In this war, the Ukrainian Army ruthlessly attempted to prevent secession of several Russian-speaking oblasts, most notably the two Donbass oblasts of Donetsk and Lugansk. Ukrainian artillery has been responsible for killing at least 5,000 Russian-speaking civilians in the Donetsk oblast alone. The Ukrainian government passed legislation that made Russian-speakers second class citizens and commenced a program of cultural genocide to rid Ukraine of all Russian influence in language, religion, culture, and politics. Only about 60 percent of Ukrainians consider Ukrainian their native language. Nearly 40 percent consider their ethnic and cultural heritage either Russian or mixed Russian and Ukrainian. Putin and Russian leadership also strongly viewed Ukraine becoming a member of NATO as an existential threat to Russian Federation national security.
Biden Administration Crushes Religious Freedom and the 1st Amendment by Banning Religious Symbols and Religious Themes at Annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House on Monday
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- Today the Biden Administration crushed religious freedom and the 1st Amendment by banning religious symbols and religious themes at the annual Easter Egg Roll at the White House.
Here is a link to the guidelines asking youth from National Guard families across the United States and all U.S. territories to submit artwork inspired by the theme “Celebrating our Military Families.”
Under the guidelines put forward by the White House, children would be prohibited from displaying artwork showing them praying for their National Guard family members, attending church with them, or praying over family meals.
In response to this blatant disrespect of religious freedom, the Christian Defense Coalition will display a 15 ft. cross in front of the White House and conduct a prayer gathering.
The Christian Defense Coalition will be displaying the cross on Wednesday, April 3 at 12:00 PM, on Pennsylvania Ave. NW in front of the White House.
Are We Living In Taylor Caldwell’s “Honoria”? It Appears We Are!
- By W.H. Lamb
LIVING AMONG THE “RUINS”
Alongside the road to Beaufort, S.C., near Yemassee, stand the still imposing ruins of Old Sheldon Church. Originally built between 1745 and 1755, it was used by American patriots during our Revolutionary War to store arms, causing it to be burned down by the British in 1779, and rebuilt in 1826. Tradition has claimed that it was again burned and gutted by the marauding devils from General Sherman’s army of pillagers and despoilers during The War For Southern Independence, but recently discovered evidence in a letter from an on site visitor in 1866 claims that Old Sheldon was NOT burned again in 1865 by Yankees but was gutted by the locals after that tragic war ended, and its materials used all over Beaufort, S.C. Be that as it may, the ruins presently stand in grand and haunting majesty, reminders of a time that once was, but is no more—reminiscent, I fear, of the possible fate of our increasingly ravaged Constitutional Republic.
WHAT? WHAT? WHAT?
- By John Porter - Harrison, Arkansas
I offer no apology for what I am here expressing to you, for this is truly how I feel.
I have lived through Presidents Harry Truman, Dwight Eisenhower, John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Joe Biden and have studied the lives of the rest of them.
Every one of them has had some of their policies not liked and criticized, as they should be. Every one of them has performed in ways not popular by some, as it should be. Every one of them has lived through some trying times with some of the American people, as it should be. After all, they are all human beings whom we have hired to work for us.
Israel Under Pressure To Accept Palestine State On Easter Sunday
- By Stefan J. Bos, Chief International Correspondent Worthy News
CAIRO/JERUSALEM (Worthy News) – Israel came under pressure Easter Sunday to accept a Palestinian state as talks resumed on a Gaza truce between the Jewish nation and Hamas, viewed as a terrorist group by Israel’s government and most of its allies.
Just hours before the latest negotiations began in Cairo, Egypt, French foreign minister Stephane Sejourne said his government would put forward a draft “two-state” resolution at the United Nations Security Council.
Sejourne was speaking alongside the Egyptian and Jordanian foreign ministers who all called for an “immediate and permanent ceasefire” in Gaza, despite Israel’s concern that would allow Hamas to regroup and rearm itself.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly Friday
- By Joshua Arnold - The Washington Stand
At first glance, Good Friday seems pretty bad. It’s fundamentally about a man being executed by one of the most excruciating methods human cruelty has devised. Adding insult to injury, before he died this man was betrayed, beaten, mocked, whipped, jeered, stripped, ridiculed, and slandered. And, to top it all off, the man who so suffered was innocent of any crime. What is good about that?
The grotesque, unsettling nature of this unjust execution has prompted at least one megachurch network of campuses to omit references to “Calvary” or the “blood of Jesus” from its Easter invitations to non-Christians who may attend — I would say, “Resurrection Sunday,” but they also avoid mentioning the resurrection.
SDG Trifecta? Education, Healthcare & Vaccinations
- By Lynne M Taylor - American Policy Center
Author’s Note: Today’s article is not to state what you should do when it comes to the choices you make for your family. I am passing on vital information about schools being used, one more time, to overreach into those decisions, especially when it comes to vaccination. Regardless where you live, your family’s freedom to decide should be yours, and yours alone. Not coerced by a system which cares little to nothing about your family. - LMT

SWIFT Launches Digital Currency System
- By Stefan J. Bos - Chief International Correspondent Worthy News
BRUSSELS (Worthy News) – The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) launched a central bank digital currency system despite worries the move would lead to more control over people’s finances.
SWIFT, the world’s biggest network ensuring transactions and interbank lending between nations, connects over 11,500 banks and institutions in more than 200 countries.
It also manages trillions of dollars worth of transactions per day. Nick Kerigan, SWIFT’s chief of innovation, said this system should be operational within 12 to 24 months.
Americans Can Tell the Difference Between Rosy Economic Data and Reality
- By Veronique de Rugy
The economy is growing, unemployment is low, wages are up, and inflation is down. However, the American people remain grumpy about the state of the economy. This puzzle was just investigated by four economists. They found that people often know that something is wrong even if statistics don't reflect the problem. In this case, people are perceiving that inflation is still, in fact, high.
For months now, Americans have been told that inflation's downward trend, from almost 9% annually to around 3%, should make them feel good about the economy. But it isn't working. A recent Gallup poll found that 63% say the state of the economy is getting worse and 45% think it's already "poor." One reason, many have speculated, is that while the rate at which prices are rising might have slowed considerably, prices remain very high. Food and rent in particular are still expensive. These prices are felt every day by Americans when they pay for their housing and go to the supermarket.
MTG: Today and Every Day Is 1776
- By Veronika Kyrylenko - The New American
A new cadre of America-first politicians is standing to restore the American republic by shrinking the size of the federal government, defying globalism, and canceling foreign military spending, among other approaches described by Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-Ga.).
In this wide-ranging interview with The New American, Rep. Greene addresses various topics. The conversation starts with the Congresswoman condemning the Senate for passing a $95.3 billion “emergency spending package” for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, which she views as another step in bankrupting a country that is already $34 trillion in debt. Instead of funding foreign wars, the Senate should be focusing on ensuring border security by passing the H.R. 2 bill, and Congress as a whole should be addressing the abuses of power by the monstrously overgrown federal government by reducing its size, keeping it accountable, and withdrawing from globalist organizations such as the United Nations and its specialized agencies such as the World Health Organization (WHO). Yet, the Congress has largely grown alienated from everyday Americans while being captured by special interests and lobbyists, hence its misguided priorities, complained the lawmakers, urging people to not “be lazy” and keep their representatives in check.
Dem Claims Men 'Don't Compete in Women's Sports' as Stolen Titles Near 300
- By Suzanne Bowdey - The Washington Stand
Does Rep. Jerry Nadler (D) live in New York or an alternate universe? People certainly wondered after a House Judiciary hearing where the 76-year-old declared, “Men do not compete in women’s sports.” Is the president’s senility contagious or is Nadler living in complete denial of a global phenomenon that’s plunged communities into chaos? Not only are men competing in women’s sports, they’re winning women’s titles — a fact Riley Gaines was more than happy to point out.
“Ironic he says this on the EXACT 2 year anniversary of this photo being taken,” the former University of Kentucky swimmer posted alongside a picture of Lia Thomas holding a trophy he never should have had the chance to race for. “This 6’4” man isn’t fooling anyone with any amount of common sense,” Gaines fumed. “2 years ago today I had a fire lit under me and communists like Nadler continue to fuel it.”
1.4 Million New Homes in 2023, but Plummeting Permits Point to Future Slowdown
- By Andra Hopulele - Point2Homes.com
The number of new homes added to the housing inventory increased in 2023, but the declining number of homes under construction and permits could be a sign of future challenges.
If completed units reveal the more immediate state of the housing market, housing starts and permitting activity are the canary in the coalmine: Fewer homes under construction and falling permits mean dwindling options for future buyers, adding more pressure to a market already strained by tight supply.
In 2023, housing completions seemed solid: 1.4 million new homes hit the market, a 4.2% increase compared to 2022. The catch? The number of new homes increased only due to the development of the multifamily sector, which jumped 22% year-over-year.
Coupled with the fact that new single family homes are dropping, this could point to a shift towards bolstering the rental sector rather than relieving the pressure on the homes for sale front.
Violence Marks Transgender Visibility Day
- By Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights
Transgender Day of Visibility is an international event that is held every year on March 31. This year it falls on Easter Sunday.
Left-wing government officials, led by President Biden and his administration, along with left-wing LGBT activists, led by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), will call attention to the heroics of transgender persons. They should instead call attention to their lifestyle, which too often is marked by drugs and violence.
At the end of 2023, HRC listed 32 incidents of transgender persons who died a violent death. It took the occasion to say that "These victims, like all of us, are loving partners, parents, family members, friends and community members. They worked, went to school and attended houses of worship."
No Alternative to Abiogenesis is Allowed
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
For something to be considered scientific you know it has to be the possibility of it being false but for this to be the case you have to allow for other possibilities to be considered. Because abiogenesis is the only naturalistic possibility by definition as long as naturalism rules the research no other possibilities such as an intelligent designer will even be allowed no matter how much the evidence points to it.

"Michelle Malkin’s latest book is required reading for anyone wishing to understand the forces and interests behind the open borders and mass migration lobby." —Pawel Styrna, ImmigrationReform.com
Follow the money, find the truth. That’s Michelle Malkin’s journalistic mantra, and in her stunning new book, Open Borders Inc., she puts it to work with a shocking, comprehensive exposé of who’s behind our immigration crisis.
In the name of compassion—but driven by financial profit—globalist elites, Silicon Valley, and the radical Left are conspiring to undo the rule of law, subvert our homeland security, shut down free speech, and make gobs of money off the backs of illegal aliens, refugees, and low-wage guest workers.
Israel Condemns US Role In UN Ceasefire Resolution
- By Stefan J. Bos, Chief International Correspondent Worthy News
JERUSALEM (Worthy News) – Israel’s Foreign Minister has condemned the U.S. decision to withhold a veto on a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for “an immediate ceasefire in Gaza,” saying it will make it more difficult to free hostages.
Israel Katz told local Army Radio it was “a moral and ethical mistake” by the U.S. as it led to Hamas’s rejection of Israeli terms for a truce and hostage deal in exchange for prisoners.
The U.S. move to abstain from the ceasefire vote prompted Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to cancel a scheduled trip to the United States by two of his top advisers.
Hamas, deemed a terrorist organization by Israel, “is building on the fact that… there will be a ceasefire without it needing to pay a thing,” Katz stressed in comments monitored by Worthy News on Wednesday.

President Biden’s State of the Union address presented a vision of higher taxes for American businesses and high earners combined with carveouts, credits, and more complex rules for taxpayers at all income levels. Soon after, the president released his FY 2025 budget outlining how the White House would implement the president’s tax vision, indicating a gross tax hike of about $5.3 trillion from 2024 to 2034.
On a gross basis, we estimate Biden’s FY 2025 budget would increase taxes by about $4.4 trillion over that period. After taking various credits into account, the increase would be about $3.4 trillion. The tax increases would substantially increase marginal tax rates on investment, saving, and work, reducing economic output by 2.2 percent in the long run, wages by 1.6 percent, and employment by 788,000 full-time equivalent jobs.
Senate Dems Call Protecting Unborn Babies ‘Dangerous’ and ‘Extreme’
- By Suzanne Bowdey
“I’m not the same person,” a 19-year-old girl known only as #13 wanted the Supreme Court to know. “I regret my abortion so much. … I think about it every day.” Taking the abortion pill “was traumatizing,” she says, thinking about the tiny little person she saw. “I just died a little bit. My boyfriend and I miss our baby.”
A woman listed as A.C. thinks back with dismay to calling 911. She was waiting at the pharmacy for the painkillers and suddenly felt wet. “I … look[ed] down at my jeans and was shocked to see [that] I was covered in blood, from the top of the inseam down to my knees. Tears began to flood my eyes,” she remembers, filled with “horror and embarrassment. … My shock,” she says, “turn[ed] into sorrow when I … found the sac with my tiny baby in it. …I held her for a moment before folding up the toilet paper and setting it into the feminine products bin.” She called the abortion center in pain and grief, and they told her to call 911. So she just lied there “in the fetal position. … The bleeding continue[d] for days,” she says of the gruesome experience. There was also a smell that “reminded me … of what I had done.”
