As Christians in Afghanistan Struggle for Their Lives, US Christians to March, Pray in Washington, D.C.
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON - More than 340 million people around the world suffer persecution for practicing their Christian faith - making it the largest persecuted religious group. In solidarity with them, and to help raise awareness, the 2nd annual March for the Martyrs will take place in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 25, 2021.
It's the first time the March, hosted by For the Martyrs, will be held in our nation's capital.
"We all see what's going on in Afghanistan right now. Christians are being hunted down and killed. This is happening in so many other nations across the world, and so few people are talking about it. That's why we've chosen to move the March for the Martyrs to Washington, D.C.," said Gia Chacon, president of For the Martyrs.

Cacophony and Confusion in Foreign Policy
- By Pat Buchanan
When President Franklin D. Roosevelt addressed Congress on Dec. 8, 1941, the day after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, the country was united behind him.
The America First Committee, the largest anti-war movement in our history, which had the backing of President Herbert Hoover and future Presidents John F. Kennedy and Gerald Ford, was closing its doors and enlisting.
When President George W. Bush stood atop the ruins of the twin towers of the World Trade Center in lower Manhattan after the attack of 9/11, the country was united behind him.
Biden’s Disastrous Withdraw from Afghanistan
- By Eagle Forum
Over the last couple of weeks, all eyes have been on the news coming from Afghanistan. The Biden administration decided to withdraw all U.S. troops from the country after two decades. To say that the execution has been disastrous would be an understatement. As many Americans and Afghan allies remain stranded and hunted down by the Taliban, the White House is looking the other way.
Bob Jones University to Re-implement Indoor Masking
- By Randy Page - BJU
Bob Jones University President Steve Pettit announced today that BJU will re-implement masking in indoor public facilities for the next two weeks to assist in the mitigation of COVID-19.
“With the increase in the number of positive cases among our student body, it is necessary that we move to requiring masks as one of the steps to mitigate the COVID-19 virus,” said Pettit. “It is our intention to continue to provide as robust as possible an on-campus, in-person student experience and we believe the steps we are taking today are necessary to accomplish those goals and protect the health of our community.”

TN Elementary School Removes 'Under God' in the Pledge of Allegiance
- By Capitol Resource Institute
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- A Tennessee elementary school rewrites the pledge removing "one nation under God" in the morning announcements.
"We have been sounding the alert that red states are under attack from the progressive left, trying to erase God and rewrite history and every day we are seeing it in the classroom," said Karen England, Executive Director of Capitol Resource Institute, TN Chapter.
At Minglewood Elementary in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, one teacher changed the line in the Pledge of Allegiance from "one nation under God" to "one nation undivided." This is a district with many military families serving Fort Campbell, KY.
Roe v. Wade Crumbling as the Supreme Court Refuses to Block Texas Law Banning Most Abortions After 6 Weeks
- By Stanton Public Policy Center/Purple Sash Revolution
WASHINGTON -- A Texas law banning abortions at six weeks went into effect early Wednesday morning after the Supreme Court and a federal appeals court failed to rule on pending emergency requests brought by abortion providers.
Stanton Public Policy Center/Purple Sash Revolution applauds the decision of the Supreme Court not to intervene as it will save thousands of children from abortion violence and women from being wounded through abortion.
The Supreme Court's response to the Texas abortion case is a clear reminder that abortion violence will soon end up on the scrapheap of history like chattel slavery and segregation.

Corporate Social Justice Programs Don't Work
- By Star Parker
According to a new report from The Washington Post, America's corporations have committed "at least" $49.5 billion to the cause of "racial justice" since the George Floyd murder last year riveted our national attention on race.
This amounts to a little over $1,100 for every Black man, woman and child in America.
Or, from another perspective, about $16,500 for every Black household earning $25,000 or less.
But we're not talking about corporate America, despite their deep concern for racial justice, just simply giving black Americans cash. As much as they undoubtedly care about these Black citizens, they would never trust them to just take the money and spend properly.
Ivermectin: Horse Hockey Versus Truth
- By Michelle Malkin
Shhhhh. The information I'm about to share with you is dangerous and subversive. You cannot publish it on social media platforms without risking scary labels and permanent suspensions. You and anyone you discuss this topic with will be called anti-science "kooks," "conspiracy theorists" or "quacks."
So be it. I've been called every pejorative name in the globalist elites' overworn handbook of ad hominem attacks over the past 30 years. Who cares?
The airwaves have been littered the past month with disparaging reports about ivermectin, which the U.S. Food and Drug Administration warns should not be used to treat or prevent COVID-19. "You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y'all. Stop it," the official FDA Twitter account snidely admonished last week.
Our Message is Clear: Don’t Draft our Daughters!
- By Eagle Forum
September 1, 2021, the House Armed Services Committee began the mark up of the Fiscal Year 2022 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). As you may recall, in July the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) voted to include women in the Military Selective Service via the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). If this bill is signed into law, women, like men, between the ages of 18-25 will be required by law to register for the draft.
If We Soak the Rich, Will Everyone Get Wet?
- By Stephen Moore
President Joe Biden describes his $3.5 trillion spending scheme as a way to improve the economy and "build back better."
The intention is a good one, but at its core, this plan isn't so much about growing people's wealth as it is redistributing it. The goal is to make the economy not more prosperous but more equitable -- fairer.
The multitrillion-dollar spending plan offers lower-income and even middle-income people truckloads of free things: health care, dental care, food, pre-K, child care, rental assistance, student loan forgiveness and free community college. And we know that Americans love freebies.

Bad Moon Rising for Biden -- and Us
- By Pat Buchanan
"April is the cruelest month," wrote T. S. Eliot in the opening line of what is regarded as his greatest poem, "The Waste Land."
For President Joe Biden, the cruelest month is surely August of 2021, which is now mercifully ending.
When has a president had a worse month?
On the last Sunday in August, Biden watched solemnly, hand over heart, as the coffins of the American dead in the Kabul airport terrorist massacre of Thursday were carried off the plane at Dover.
The American dead had been carrying out an evacuation of U.S. citizens and Afghan allies from America's lost war, a defeat dealt to us by the same Taliban we ejected from power in 2001 for providing sanctuary for the al-Qaida terrorists of 9/11.
BJU Commemorates 20th Anniversary of 9/11
- By Randy Page - BJU
On the twentieth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Bob Jones University will commemorate the 2,977 lives lost on Sept.11, 2001, with a display of American flags at the front of campus
In addition, two beacon lights will represent the World Trade Center towers and in front of the beacons, a Wall of Remembrance will display the names of those who perished on that day.
“The 9/11 attacks forever changed our country and impacted a generation of Americans,” said BJU President Steve Pettit. “Most students in our incoming freshmen class weren’t born in 2001. It is important to use this milestone as a teachable moment. Seeing the thousands of flags at the entrance serves as a reminder to our student body, as well as the community, of the lives we lost that day and the triumph of the American spirit in the face of tragedy.”
Gallo Winery Project: No Cheap Buzz for SC Taxpayers
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
E.&J. Gallo Winery, a multibillion-dollar global corporation, will get at least $25 million in assistance from the state of South Carolina to locate a plant in Chester County – plus could receive tens of millions more in taxpayer-backed incentives over decades, records released to The Nerve show.
And the California-based wine and spirits giant would face relatively light financial penalties if it doesn’t fully live up to its end of the deal, according to records recently provided by the state Department of Commerce under the S.C. Freedom of Information Act.
In fact, the performance agreement for a $16 million state grant would allow state and county officials to lower job creation and investment requirements for the company to receive incentives.
It’s more than just words on paper: The Nerve in 2018, for example, revealed that officials sharply lowered required job and investment targets to keep the Element TV assembly plant in Fairfield County.
Why it's important to understand the "privileges and immunities" & "due process" clauses of the US Constitution
- By Joanna Martin, J.D., "Publius Huldah" or "PH"
Someone asked me why I write on the US Constitution when the US Supreme Court won't enforce it.
This is why: Our Declaration of Independence recognizes the self-evident Truth that Rights come from GOD, and that they are unalienable. Accordingly, there are certain areas of your life which are off-limits to government regulation - you have an "immunity" from governmental regulation of these areas.
But since all Branches of the federal government, and many State governments are refusing to recognize our Rights, it falls on us to vigorously assert our Rights, defend them, and insist on them. You have no lawful, moral, or religious duty to submit to a government when it violates our Constitution and which is seeking to take from you the Rights which the Creator God gave you. No human has the right to take from you a Right which God gave you.
In Afghanistan, the Worst Is Yet to Come
- By Pat Buchanan
Say what you will about President Joe Biden, he has stuck to his guns on ending America's 20-year involvement in Afghanistan's forever war.
His decision not to delay our departure after Aug. 31 was fortified by hard intel that the terrorist ISIS-K was preparing attacks at Kabul airport.
Thursday evening, the two bomb attacks occurred.
It now seems inevitable that the withdrawal will be completed by Aug. 31, with all U.S. military forces following the last civilians out.
A Black Scholar Warns About Evils of Critical Race Theory as a 'Doctrine of Demons'
- By Christian Newswire
Dr. Eric Wallace to Discuss Why the Church Must Agree on One Thing: Critical Race Theory is Un-Christian
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- A Black scholar and ministry leader, with links to civil rights leader Rev. Martin Luther King, has slammed the controversial critical race theory as "a doctrine of demons."
Freedom's Journal Institute Founder and President Dr. Eric Wallace -- the first African American to earn a Ph.D. in Biblical studies from Union-PSCE (Now Union Presbyterian Seminary) -- will discuss the "evils" of critical race theory (CRT) and its origins at a conference, Aug. 27-28 in Newport News, Va.
Critical race theory proponents claim the United States was founded on racism and is systemically racist -- painting White people and White Christians as oppressors, and people of color as the oppressed.
Who's Really to Blame for Afghanistan?
- By Neil Patel
As the world watches in horror, the leaders of history's mightiest country are begging a terrorist group not to harm defenseless Americans left in a crumbling, trillion-dollar trap of our own design. Considering we hold all the receipts, it's worth asking how we got here. The main problem, of course, is President Joe Biden's botched withdrawal. It's scary that the people running our country can be that incompetent. Pulling out American troops before the safe withdrawal of American citizens would be a hilarious concept if it weren't what actually happened. Leaving sophisticated American military technology for these terrorists is equally mind-boggling.
