Marxist Persecution of Christianity
- By Mike Scruggs
Russian History that Americans Must Learn
Marxism is anti-Christian at its very core. Following the failure of Marxism to sweep Europe after World War I and the Russian Revolution, Marxist leadership concluded that Marxism could never dominate and flourish where Christian churches were strong. Hence they have doubled down on undermining, uprooting, and destroying Christianity. The trend toward social Marxism versus the older more purely economic Marxism was thus born. In its strategic path to power, social Marxism undermines every aspect of a target culture, usually leading with control of the media and education establishments, and then government, but ultimately targeting all free speech and even free thought. The ultimate Marxist enemy is truth and especially the spiritual truth of Christianity and divine universal reality.
Plead My Cause, O Lord!
- By W.H. Lamb
“Contend, LORD, with those who contend with me; fight against those who fight against me. Take up shield and armor; arise and come to my aid. Brandish spear and javelin against those who pursue me. Say to me, ‘I am your salvation.’ May those who seek my life be disgraced and put to shame; May those who plot my ruin be turned back in dismay. May they be like chaff before the wind, With the angel of the LORD driving them away;…” ~ Psalm 35:1-5 NIV
I’ve included two versions of Psalm 35:1-5 for the sake of clarification and comparison. I’m sure that most Christians have read this historic Psalm, but I’m equally sure that some Christians, and fewer still Americans in general, know the significance of that great Psalm of King David in the foundation of our Constitutional Republic. Many do not realize that this Psalm inspired our nation’s Founders to pursue independence in obedience to God’s Word. When the Continental Congress met in the Pennsylvania State House in Philadelphia in September of 1774 (now called ‘Independence Hall’, although they actually met in Carpenter’s Hall next door-and I’ve been there), the delegates were under the erroneous assumption that the British military had already bombarded and destroyed the town of Boston. The Library of Congress has long related the story that the delegates “prayed fervently for America, for Congress…and especially for the town of Boston.”
Taxpayers on Hook for Road- and Bridge-Naming Legislation
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
S.C. lawmakers routinely approve naming road sections and bridges for living or deceased persons, including ex-legislators and other former public officials.
Not only does it take up a lot of collective time that could be spent working on larger, more pressing issues, but it also comes with a cost to taxpayers – and local roads.
A little-known state law requires that the cost to the S.C. Department of Transportation to produce and erect the new road and bridge signs be reimbursed largely from a state fund designated to repair local roads.

SALTY SEZ – Banning Christ
- By Ray Simmons
I suppose everyone is noticing how fast things are moving: that, of course, is part of the plan. The enemy knows if the general population gets wise enough to rise up and say NO, they will have a much harder row to hoe. I recently read of a new organization (PAC) that is working to attack our culture and particularly Christianity. It calls itself SECULAR DEMOCRATS of AMERICA, and wants to restore Constitutional Secularism* and Patriotic Pluralism in the White House – whatever that means. They generated a document (28 pages) for the Biden-Harris Administration in which they are suggesting ways to remove Christianity, and thus Christians, from the national scene. Anyone paying attention to the Democratic Administration has already noticed its lack of Christianity. Some of the documents’ quotes and my comments follow:
What is Critical Race Theory -- Black Pastor and Attorney Explains How it's Designed to Transform America Away from its Founding Principles
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- At a time that our nation's media spotlights race and oppression, Americans hear about Critical Race Theory and wonder why anyone would oppose a critical look at racial turmoil.
But Marc Little, a pastor and attorney, explains that CRT is not what it looks like. In a national column published at Townhall, Marc Little wrote "To those who believe Critical Race Theory is a vehicle to discuss race in America, they mistake the goal of CRT, which has little, if anything, to do with race."
Little, who is the Executive Director of CURE America Action that is headquartered in Washington, DC, which advocates for public policy with the messages of Christianity, Capitalism, and the Constitution across the nation, remarked that the academic theory rejects our founding principles. In his column, Little said "It demands equality in outcomes or worse, it demands to invert economic realities."
Conservatives Should Start Paying Attention to Language
- By Neil Patel
In certain ways, it must be fun to be a left-winger. Pushing for any policy that seems socially just without the constraint of how it actually works out for people (i.e., ignoring the horrors left behind in socialism's wake throughout history) makes things a whole lot easier. Sounds fun, too. Just going with your heart and hoping for the best must be liberating. But the most fun leftists have must be when they sit around to talk about some of the dumb ways conservatives talk.
Are the Halcyon Days Over for Joe Biden?
- By Pat Buchanan
On taking the oath of office, Jan. 20, Joe Biden may not have realized it, but history had dealt him a pair of aces.
The COVID-19 pandemic had reached its apex, infecting a quarter of a million Americans every day. Yet, due to the discovery and distribution of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, the incidence of infections had crested and was about to turn sharply down.
By May, the infection rate had fallen 80%, as had the death toll.
Crisis Mismanagement: Biden's Struggles to Respond
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Maybe the reason Joe Biden isn't responding to the world's crises is because he hasn't gotten permission to! In some of the most revealing comments about the administration to date, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki raised plenty of eyebrows when she implied that the 78-year-old is on a short leash in public. They are the ones calling the shots -- Biden admitted, not him. And if that doesn't disturb you, Joe Concha argued, it should.
GOP: Seek Not Phony Bipartisanship. Save the Nation
- By David Limbaugh
Riddle me this: Why would Republicans fall for the Democrats' age-old ploy of pressuring them into working on "bipartisan" legislation that will only advance the Democratic agenda and damage the nation?
Indeed, what's the point in the GOP puffing up its chest about ousting Liz Cheney from her House leadership position if they're just going to turn around and behave like never-Trumpers by caving on President Biden's agenda? Why would they play footsy with the most militantly leftist party in American history? That can't possibly be good for America, nor can it be good for their political fortunes, as voters don't want them to be spineless wimps.

Urge your U.S. Senators to oppose both S. 1 and H.R. 1
- By John Birch Society
URGENT: The Senate Rules Committee tied 9-9 in a May 11 vote on S. 1. Under the Senate’s rules, the tie does not kill S. 1, and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) will force a floor vote in the coming weeks. Urge your U.S. Senators to oppose both S. 1 and H.R. 1.
H.R. 1, sponsored by John Sarbanes (D-Md.) and co-sponsored by Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.), was introduced on January 4, 2021, immediately after start of the 117th Congress. The Senate version, S. 1, sponsored by Senator Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.), has 48 co-sponsors and was introduced on March 17, 2021.
Millions More Proposed for Senate, House Chambers Under State Spending Plan
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
The Senate’s version of the state budget for the upcoming fiscal year includes more than $1.2 billion in surplus money, though none of it would be refunded to taxpayers.
Instead, senators would spend $4.2 million of the windfall on its own chamber and give another $2.2 million from the surplus to the House chamber, budget records reviewed by The Nerve show.
And that’s on top of $23.7 million and $5.8 million surpluses that the House and Senate chambers, respectively, carried over into this fiscal year, according to state comptroller general records. The 2022 fiscal year starts July 1.
'Woke' Teens Demand Critical Race Theory in all K-12 Classrooms
- By Nevada Family Alliance
RENO, Nev. -- Washoe County School District Board of Trustees is pushing radical Critical Race theory curriculum starting in Kindergarten. In addition, they are seeking grants that would allow them to implement policies that will radically change hiring practices and could force the district to stop hiring white teachers.
The Washoe County School District's Equity & Diversity Department had been waiting to present the district Board with its "Equity Action Plan" for some time. When the student activist group "WCSD Students for Change" began showing up to district board meetings in 2020 demanding changes to board policy, curriculum, and district hiring practices, it provided the department just the green light they were looking for.
What The Founders Feared
- By Major General Donald A. McGregor, USAF (Ret.) - The New American
The U.S. National Guard has been ordered by the federal government to act as a longterm security force at the Capitol. This is against the will of the Founders.
Fox News published an article on March 11 entitled “Defense Secretary Austin overruled National Guard chief on keeping troops at Capitol: memo.” To the average reader, this may appear to be a sensationalized story throwing fuel on the embers of an already charred issue in our Capitol. But the story captures the growing and troubling divide between the secretary of defense and the chief of the National Guard Bureau over the appropriate use of the National Guard, and reveals a much larger and more concerning dilemma — something our Founding Fathers feared most.

Birth Dearth About Values, Not Economics
- By Star Parker
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that births in the USA reached another historic low in 2020.
For the sixth consecutive year, the birth rate dropped -- this time by 4%. The average annual drop in the five previous years was 2%.
The rate at which American women are having babies is way below the rate necessary to keep the population steady-state -- that is, for the population not to shrink.
Biden's Big Government Works Overtime for Unemployment
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
The evidence of it is everywhere -- at restaurants, factories, construction sites, even want ads. A couple in Chattanooga couldn't even go out to dinner without being greeted by a sign that read: "We are short staffed. Please be patient... No one wants to work anymore." In Indiana, the head of a trailer company told reporters, "I've never seen it this bad." Employers offer to pay more, give night and weekend incentives, and still -- they can't seem to find any applicants. "There's too much free money sitting out there to stay home," one said. And if something doesn't change -- and fast -- the worker shortage will be the least of America's worries.
Check Your Obama Privilege
- By Michelle Malkin
Former President Barack Obama's bitter other half is at it again. Just when you think the former first lady's deep well of racial resentment has run dry, her headline-generating grievances gush forth anew. Gripe springs eternal.
This week, Michelle Obama told Oprah Winfrey's bestie Gayle King on CBS News that "many of us still live in fear" after the conviction of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in the George Floyd case. By "us," she apparently means black Americans. But Obama (estimated net worth with her husband: $70 million-$135 million) and King (yearly salary at CBS: $5.5 million) aren't just any black Americans. Their twin self-delusions are a sight to behold.
The Battle for France
- By Mike Scruggs
Has Uncontrolled Migration Brought France to Brink of Civil War?
On April 21, twenty retired French generals published an open letter in the French magazine Valeurs Actuelles (Current Values) to the French government and political establishment, warning of imminent civil war due to uncontrolled immigration and increasing domestic jihadism. It was supported by 100 other senior military officers and more than a thousand other members of the French military. A Harris Interactive Survey by LCI Television found that 58 percent of the French public supports the claims of these officers. Forty-five percent agreed that France is indeed on the brink of civil war. Forty-nine percent are ready for the Army to intervene now—without government request. Other polls indicate the French public is very concerned about the growing cultural Marxism, runaway multiculturalism, and expansion of Muslim no-go zones in France. The death blow: An Article V convention to replace our Constitution
- By Publius Huldah - RenewAmerica.com
Open your eyes and see what is going on in our country. If you don't face up to reality right now and act accordingly, we are doomed.
The fight over whether to have an Article V convention isn't between Republicans and Democrats, or liberals and "conservatives." It is spiritual warfare between those who want to keep our biblically-based Constitution of 1787 [1] and godless revolutionaries who want to get rid of our Constitution and set up the New World Order.
Attorney With Ties To SC Senator Wins Judgeship
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
An attorney who works in a state senator’s law firm is Spartanburg County’s new master-in-equity judge – less than three months after the county’s legislative delegation, of which the senator is a member, quietly nominated her.
The Senate and House this week confirmed Shannon Phillips, an attorney in Sen. Scott Talley’s law firm, for the judgeship after Gov. Henry McMaster appointed her to a six-year term, based on the delegation’s recommendation.
Talley, R-Spartanburg, was appointed to the state judicial screening committee just two months before the legislatively controlled panel in November qualified Phillips for the seat held by Gordon Cooper, whose term expires June 30.
Building Bridges on Infrastructure
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said Sunday that Democrats should push through an infrastructure package without Republican support. He didn't "agree" that Biden should wait for "consultation and dialogue" with Republicans. "The bottom line is the American people want results." You'd think from his comments that Democrats had already offered to negotiate, and that Republicans had stubbornly refused to make reasonable compromises. In fact, although President Biden pitched his $2.2 trillion infrastructure package over a month ago, he is meeting with top Congressional Republicans today for the first time.
Has the Backlash Arrived for Police-Bashing?
- By Pat Buchanan
Within hours of Saturday's shooting in Times Square where three bystanders, including a 4-year-old girl, were wounded, the two leading candidates to replace Mayor Bill de Blasio were on-site.
Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams, a retired captain of the NYPD, and Andrew Yang, who declared:
"My fellow New Yorkers ... Nothing works in our city without public safety, and for public safety, we need the police. ... My message to the NYPD is this: New York needs you. Your city needs you.
"New York cannot afford to defund the police."
The (Not So) Great “Reset” – The Deep Staters’ Plan To Take Over The World, And You! (Part 2)
- By W.H. Lamb
Last time we introduced you (probably) to a sinister and deplorable man that I described as “a bitter enemy of freedom and constitutional government” who is active among the “movers and shakers” of the world of political scheming and economic ‘readjustment’, developing a plan that he and his allies are trying with all their might to fasten onto the world of free enterprise and free market capitalism, thereby chaining us down forever into the realm of mediocrity and cultural and economic SLAVERY. His name, you might recall from Part 1, is Klaus Schwab, chief of the World Economic Forum, and he is one of the principal architects of a collectivist “save the world” scheme called “The Great Reset”. Listen carefully to the hissing of these vipers of perfidy and mendacity, as they do their best to convince mankind that by the year 2030, if the gullible sheeple of Europe and North America can be hoodwinked into approving their collectivist drivel, you—all of us—will essentially be serfs who own NOTHING, and we’ll be very happy because we don’t! Or at least, they assure us that we’ll be happy.
