- By Bob Dill, Publisher
Platform Strengthened, Rule Changes Troubling (see GCGOP Resolution at bottom of Article)
Changes to the rules and platform passed at the Republican National Convention in Florida will have an impact on the future of the Republican Party. Generally speaking, the Platform is stronger and more conservative than in previous years, especially in terms of life issues, school choice and other value issues. Some of the rule changes pushed through by the liberal wing of the party are troubling and were opposed by the delegates representing the South Carolina Republican Party.
Greenville County “Ethics” Rules Violated
- By Harry Kibler - Founder of RINO Hunt, Pelzer, SC
Should a lawmaker be able to sponsor and pass legislation that funnels money into his own company or a company he works for? Should a Council member be able to commit public money when it directly benefits himself?
If the public were aware of where the elected official earned his money it may change how many laws are created and how they affect the citizens they serve.
Most Important and Corrupt Election in our Lifetime
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
An administration that has exercised power for four years based on falsehoods and deception is now required to base their reelection campaign on falsehoods and deception in order to be consistent by maintaining the deception and retain power for another four years. Nothing will be too unethical, immoral or dishonest for them to use in the next thirty days of the campaign, and the tricks have already begun.
Hardly anyone believes the Administration report that unemployment has suddenly dropped from 8.2 to 7.8 percent. They have manipulated numbers before and they have done it again. A convenient election-year deception.
The White House's Voter Protection Racket
- By James Aldridge - Anderson, SC
Earlier this year, the Pew Center described our voter registration system as "Inaccurate, Costly. and Inefficient." It reported that 24 million voter registrations in the U.S. are not valid; and that more than 4.5 million deceased are listed as voters or registered in more than one state. Still, the Obama Administration, and its 'attack dog,' Attorney General Eric Holder, is suing states that are enacting common sense voter ID laws to correct these problems.

Political Allegiances In Order to Gain Office
- By Jim and Nancy Page - Greenville, SC
Costumes and fall weather seem to go together. Turn on the TV, and you’ll recognize beloved football mascots. Answer the doorbell, and you’ll see dressed-up children hoping for candy.
Unfortunately, voters must also contend with disguises that have less sentimental appeal and far more serious implications for the state. Consider how our country has spent the last four years struggling through the administration of a politician who portrayed his values as something far different from his true character.
Spiritual Warfare of the Deadly Kind
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
More than anytime in my lifetime, the upcoming elections involve not just flesh and blood, but the spiritual realm. Many issues at stake involve clear-cut battles involving good and evil. That is not to say that all of the choices are clear, because they are not. There are many gray areas, where voters must use the uncommon ability to apply common sense. For the Christian, decisions should be easier, because Christians have the Scripture and the Holy Spirit as advisers.

Haley Upset Over “Ballot Fiasco”
- By James "Chip" Moore
Problem is Jake Knotts
During a town hall meeting in Mauldin conducted by S.C. Governor Nikki Haley on September 27, 2012, moderator Jim Lee of the Palmetto Conservatives opened up questions on the topic of the “ballot fiasco” presently going on in this election cycle.
“”We had a little problem with the ballots this time around, and a lot of candidates got thrown off the ballot. I’m curious, what do you think specifically needs to be done in order to correct that problem to make sure the process is transparent, accountable, reliable, and so that people don’t have to require an attorney to become a candidate on a ballot, and we don’t have this nonsense of the courts getting involved in party primaries,” asked Lee.

Muslim Brotherhood Well-Represented in Obama Administration
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
It is a well-documented fact that Communist ideology is strongly represented in the Progressive Caucus of the United States Congress. Congressman Allen West has been outspoken about this fact. This political reality compromises the ability of The United States to deal effectively with Communist governments.
While Communism is a danger to free people wherever it exists, the radical Muslim Brotherhood has penetrated deep into the Obama Administration according to a former FBI special agent and a Muslim reformer based in Canada. World Net Daily (WND.COM) has published an exclusive report giving names of those holding important positions in the Obama Administration who are closely associated with the Muslim Brotherhood that allegedly was involved in the murder of the U. S. Ambassador to Libya and other Americans.

Counting the Days, Dreading the Ways
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
Military service involves a lot of tradition. Much of the tradition does not have to be taught. It is simply acquired through living, experience and survival. In the world of science, it might be labeled osmosis. You absorb it from the environment that surrounds you without being taught or putting forth any effort of your own.
One of those traditions is the Short Timer’s Calendar. Regardless of rank, virtually everyone in uniform in an undesirable assignment maintains one. Some are just more visible than others. The private may keep his large calendar in a wall or foot locker, or on the wall of his living space. He dutifully marks off each day as he passes by the locker, unless he is too exhausted and delays into the next day.

- By John Hagee
Greetings to all,
First, I want to express my profound appreciation to President Barak Obama for doing what all of the Republican candidates have not been able to do for months: he unified the Bible-believing church in America in one week over the issue of abortion.
When the President ordered the Catholic Church to provide contraceptives to prevent the birth of new life, he hit a nerve in the heart of every true Catholic and Evangelical.
